Have you ever snooped into your partner’s computer because you suspected something or were just being nosy?

I know it’s wrong but curiosity is getting to me. And of course there is running the risk of finding something that might be hurtful even if it’s innocent or not.

So, have you ever looked and what did you find and how did you deal with it?

Never looked. Because I didn't want to have to deal with whatever I found--or my guilt when I didn't find anything, but snooped out of distrust,

There are some lines to me you just don't cross. I was taught from a very early age that a woman's pocket book was off limits, to this day I have never been in any of the 3 wive's nor my daughters, or any for that matter, and I feel the same about my computer, don't go there. I feel the same way about my phone.

you really need to ask yourself why you feel the need to snoop in your partner's stuff? if there are trust issues or cause for suspicion then it's best to talk about it. if you suspect your partner is up to no good then you better have some evidence for your suspicion before you go digging for hard evidence. crossing that line may inevitably destroy any trust that is left between you two.

Yes and I totally regret it. But we worked through it and dated for 4 years.

And then about 2 years after the breakup, I found out he was going through my emails. I know I was very upset about it.

It totally destroyed our friendship that we had been working on after our breakup.
