problem uploading photo

Hey guys,

I'm trying to upload some photos from my macbook, but the site is telling me that "it doesn't accept image type (8) this type yet." The photo is a "tiff" type so it should be acceptable on this forum and they were taken with my laptop cam, but I transfered them as files onto my "i photos" and documents"

I went ahead and changed the files to JPG. files, and it still won't work. Maybe it's size specifications? I took these photos with my laptop camera and then used "ichat picture manager" to transfer them to my laptop docs and folders so that I could upload them onto the website... any help greatly appreciated

It's hard to know exactly what the problem is, but a low tech solution would be to use Apple-Shift-4 to take screenshots of the pictures.

Seems like maybe the encoding in your JPEG is causing problems. There is a 100MB file limit so unless you have a picture bigger than that which I doubt, the problem isnt filesize.

Maybe try encoding it to JPG , GIF or BMP?
