That's pretty funny. I think you can minimize the odd translations by writing very clearly and using no slang. Which program produced that bit of prose, by the way?
I suppose the big advantage to using one of the translation sites is vocabulary. When I need to speak Spanish it is helpful not because it makes me speek more clearly but because it allows me to converse on subjects besides the location of the bathroom and whether or not I am hungry.
