I have always had problems with hair, not just on my penis. I get ingrown hairs no matter what I seem to do. I am just wondering if anyone has any good ideas of safely removing hair from the base of your penis. I will not shave because of irritation and tweezing just causes some hairs to break under the surface and cause more ingrown hairs. Any help would be appreciated.

Hot towels. Thirty seconds in the microwave. It opens your pores and follicles and encourages hairs to move the right direction outward.

There are depilatory creams such as Nair. Some think they are too harsh for use there, some do not. Basically if you use any method of hair removal plus the hot towel your risk of ingrown hairs is lowered.

Maybe this is a stupid suggestion, but would a dermetologist be able to assist you with this question?

If you go to a beauty salon or spa, the estheticians have products you can buy such as "Tend Skin". If the problem is really bad, definitely see a dermatologist. They always give free samples!

electrolysis. It'll get rid of them.
Might wanna have a Vicky with a champagne chaser before you get the procedure though.
