Problems with jelqing

    has anyone else had a problem with getting hard while trying to jelq? It seems like everytime I start a get hard and have to stop. Has anyone else experienced this and if so were u able to fix it?

    well bro, ive been doing it for a few weeks now and i also experience what youre suggesting. i also feel like my penis is shrinking a little bit actually, but i definitely notice a huge increase in girth so i hope the length is just a "worse before better" effect or something. idk i wish someone could help

    i cant help you because you know, im new to this as well. but i also share your concern if it helps

    Don't worry about it, you will be targeting length if you jelq with a low erection.
    Otherwise, watch porn, do a warm up, eat spicy food...these all work for me.

    First of all, you are not supposed to jelq with a full erection.

    You should be jelqing at a 30-60% erection.

    my own jelqing issue. Hate the word jelqing by the way. Is it pronounced JELKING? it is an ugly word, i digress... did it for a week and gained .25 in girth. No length definitely not. Not sure if I care if it is perm or temporary but what I do care about is....
    I am getting spider veins and all of the veins in general are much more prominant. WILL THIS GO AWAY? Not a fan of the veins, plus I am not telling my wife, she will think im disturbed, and wonder WTF happened to my dick.

    Here are a few options- you can rest every few rep, you can do your length work (stretches) first, or you can ejaculate shortly before your session.

    You may not be getting enough rest between sessions. Are you doing stamina work?

    As long as the veins aren't abnormally swollen or painful, you'll be OK. A more fit penis will be veinier and they'll stand out a lot because the skin of the penis lacks fat.

    Interesting point. The exact same as Bodybuilding. People think when you're pumpin set after set and maxxin out reps that you're getting bigger, but you're really not. You DO get a nice pump, as with jelqing, but the real gains happens when you rest/sleep. The weight lifting tears and breaks the muscle down, while the rest heals it and lets it grow back bigger & stronger.

    Exactly, I've found the PE routine works better for me if I do it every second day, with a rest day in-between to recover. Mind you I probably train too much during the on days so I need a day's rest to repair and rebuild. This is what works for me, so it may or may not work for you. Everybody is different. :)

    if you give your arms a tough workout, you will have dificulty lifting heavy objects until they recover. the same could be said for the penis. give it time man, give it time
