But on the subject of cloth rulers vs rigid rulers...If I remember rightly Quercusone has a downward curving penis which means that maybe a cloth tape is the best way to measure.
And for me personally my penis bends to the left slightly and even up/back on itself a little bit. Which gives different measurements depending what ruler I use.
But whichever ruler you use at least its an indication. Better than people saying they have 14 inches with no measurement or even pics.

Video's legitimate. Ruler marking might be slightly below 9", but you're also upcurved a little bit but measuring with a straight-ruler, so it's perfectly reasonable to claim 9". As someone with a strong upcurve, who often feels a "little shortchanged" in overhead-pictures, I can empathize. I've agreed with your idea in the past that pictures taken from the side are ideal for showing length.

All of the gallery pictures are you, right? I don't have the privileges to see anything but thumbnails, but there's a pretty wide range of shapes and sizes between them, as well as the self-suck xtube videos and stuff. Either way, that's as close as I've seen anyone get to a proper measurement picture after they pass a certain size.
Of course the blame for all of this still probably lies with the originators: all the John Holmes crap, pop media,etc. I think when someone sees a dick the same size as their own (or smaller) in porn, and realizes that the ignorant majority out there believe this guy to be 12 inches or more in length, they may as well claim something close for anything that 'looks' similar. Chances are good that way more people will believe it than won't.

As I said, I sort of came to the conclusion a while back that once guys pass a certain "real life" measurable size threshold, your chances of them being honest with others about their true size, or complying with the known measurement rules, begins to rapidly diminish. I'd put that line somewhere around true 8, but I guess it could be lower depending on the person. From observation, with the select few that truly exceed 8.5 or so, you've almost lost any chance of them not exaggerating by some margin, and the only real question ends up "How much do you figure this particular guy is lying by?".
