It doesn't really matter. Even if it were a hi def 4k video, if you're doing that same stuff that everybody uses in "measurement" pictures, it only shows what size you aren't. All you have to do is stand up straight with your dick sticking out at 90° and lay a ruler on top of it. That's how long your dick is. I still think if enough people put their heads together and brainstorm they can come up with some way to bullshit the 90° standing ruler thing, but the fact that everybody appears to be avoiding it would indicate that it's quite difficult indeed.

PS- IIRC, there actually was a guy recently down in straight adult websites, either in the Julio Gomez thread, or the measured porn stars thread who seemed to be doing a valid simple POV ruler measurement which still got him close to nine inches, but I didn't study it too hard.
In case anybody wants to see what that's about, it's back here along with links to the pictures. That particular picture is another reason I doubt the more recent ones. When people shop dick measurement pictures it's typically to make the measurement look bigger. If newer ones show a similar number, it simply means the person's skills have improved and/or they've learned what not to do and what they can get away with. Many of the ten inch crowd have evolved in a similar manner and had some blatantly obvious deception or editing in most of their older pictures, but got better at it as time went on. It's a skill like any other.I have a pic in my gallery of me standing and with a ruler on top but you deemed it fake so that's why I made the gifs.
If your dick looks about like some of the "monster dick" porn guys, why not be proud of that and be honest about what your actual size is? It seems significant that when the method Shepardson describes is suggested in these types of threads, it is rarely ever then used. Typically a continued argument drags on, or the person submits yet another pic or gif using some strange angles or measuring devices, and proudly claims compliance and proof. Why the pushback? It shouldn't be too inconvenient to end the disagreement by trying what is requested. Best of all....it doesn't shrink the penis in question!!!

The angled dick/start point concept is a bit obvious. Think of the extreme, you're standing up with your dick pointing straight down, so the measuring device has to be parallel to your body (and dick). Where the heck does it start and how does it ever hit anything? Then why hide the rest of the shot? And why is there what appears to be a cushion in front of you? Not sure on this, but it looks to be curved over the front end of a cushion or something with the camera following the curve (or is that lens distortion?), maybe to get the outside curve thing happening. I have a feeling some of you guys are going to some serious extremes to set some of this stuff up. The easiest thing to do is just what everybody always suggests- stand up straight with your dick pointing straight out, and a camera distance that makes it clear that this is what you're doing, then lay a ruler on it.
I really don't need to get into whether or not you photoshopped that other stuff. If you're claiming that everything in that one picture casts a shadow except the whole top half of your dick or that you didn't stretch the entire dick/asscrack section of that other one this is a lost cause.
