I like you more with each post, who is your favorit
don't fib and claim not to have a favorit now

Oh it's hard to call any serial killer a favorite. As favorite seems to have a positive association, but i'd say probably one of the weirdest ones for me is the not-so-well known storyline behind the movie The Changling with Angelina Jolie.

Wineville Chicken Coop Murders - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not only do you have a serial killer, sex is involved, brutal murders, and his mom helps, he also recruits the help of one of his victims to help him kill these boys.

I guess by favorit I mean the one you find the most interesting

...Narcissistic people are pros at the manipulation.

Truer words were never spoken. My ex, at least according to my therapist and based on my description, is OCPD and narcissistic. Everything has to be in order - his order - he has lists for everything that needs to be done and everything has to be done according to his way, his schedule. When we were breaking up one of his complaints was that I never helped him around the house. The fact was that, although I tried, I never could do it well enough. So I stopped doing anything and let him do it HIS WAY! Folding t-shirts the wrong way set him off. He'd come behind me and refold them. Even now, when he comes over, he cleans the kitchen and rearranges things and even checks my underwear draw to see if I have everything arranged properly! I just let do his thing....

This is taken from a great blog call Sociopath World!

SociopathWorld: Do sociopaths love?

yes. sociopaths can love with a selfish intensity that can put other love to shame. their love is a devouring, consuming sort of love. when i love someone, i feel like i want to inhale them -- to literally suck out their soul. when i kiss someone, i try to do just that
love may be blind for empaths, but a sociopath sees clearly your faults and loves you still. the sociopath's piercing eyes are not only unsettling because of their unwaivering constancy, but because the sociopaths eyes can pierce through to your very soul, leaving you naked before his gaze.

the sociopath's ignorance or disinterest in social norms means that a sociopath will not see you as the world sees you but how you truly are. i imagine this ability would be particularly appealing to those whose role in society doesn't reflect their true worth: members of disfavored races or socioeconomic backgrounds, the too-smart-for-their-own-good, the still-waters-run-deep.

sociopaths have a genius for adoring. their understanding of your wants and needs matched with their charm and flexible personality mean that they can and will literally become the man or woman of your dreams. in fact, when i love, my first step is to gather as much information as possible about every aspect of the person's life in order to more closely resemble their ideal mate.

the closest analog to a sociopath's love is probably the love of a child: intense, accepting, selfish. and finally, like a child, the sociopath will be extremely loyal. a sociopath will never put you above himself, but he will readily put you above all others.

Yuck! Since that this blog entry came from a pro-sociopath website, I'd call it very biased.

Why would a sociopath be loyal to a partner? The only person a sociopath is loyal to is themself. Sociopaths just think of everybody else as things to be manipulated and discarded when that person is no longer of value to the sociopath. A real person can remain loyal to a partner through good times and bad.

If that was a realistic view of the world the institution of marriage would still mean something.

I'm wondering if now is the time to point out that the Diagnostic and Statistic Manual has no listing for, and therefore, doesn't recognize, psychopathy or sociopathy as a diagnosable condition...

Look in this section of the DSM for definition of sociopathy and how to diagnose it. DSM-IV-TR_.3D_301.7.29

Why wouldn't folks survive these type of relationships. Isn't there steps or process to support yourself during a relationship like this

You must step away at some point, or be absorbed as a mere source of nourishment. It might take until your life is over, but if that is what you want to die of, go ahead.

When I was in such a relationship it began to hurt too much, a dead giveaway that I was being eaten. I decided my life was not yet over and got away to grow those parts of me back.

Nemo:
Yes it does. It is called "Anti-Social Personality Disorder" and it is an Axis II diagnosis.
