Sorry for posting here but I didnt found a really suiting section. I met a girl last night. We all have preferences and things we like, but the main goal is to have sex. So I find it concerning you weren't able to get your erection back because she didn't match your personal preference. Yes it is 2010, but not all women shave. There are some who like (and prefer) the natural look - while some choose the completely shaven route - and the rest somewhere in between.

So it seems that you may have missed out on (possibly) good sex and connecting with a great gal because a few hairs were in play. I'm gonna say it's probably pretty rare that man turned down sex because of hair. Not saying it never happens, but it's probably rare.

It's a fashion thing. When I was in my teens/twenties/thirties very very few women (or men) in the uk shaved or trimmed their pubic hair. Pictures (in glamour magazines) of women with shaved pubic hair were very rare, but for some reason I was extremely turned on by them. I think it might be because in the 1950s magazines were not allowed to show pubic hair, so models either shaved it off or the pictures were air brushed to cover all traces of hair. It could be that pictures like that were the first glamour pics I saw and it kind of conditioned me to find the look sexy. But in the swinging '60s the laws relaxed and magazines were able to show pubic hair, and by the '70s we got to see labia too! By the '80s models were starting to trim their pubic hair, and in the '90s the various ways of doing it had names (Brazillian, Landing Strip, etc.).

Throughout the last decade it's become pretty much universal for models and a lot of young women who aren't models) to remove their pubic hair, and the natural bush is seen as exotic or odd. In the circumstances, I'm not surprised by the OP's problem with pubic hair.
