Pulling back the hood for measurement

Hi guys, I was just wondering why when one is measuring an uncut penis the foreskin must be pulled back?, what is the effect of it on the measurement?...I never did this because it kinda hurts when I pull the hood back, but I'm just wondering

You wouldnt really have to retract the foreskin as long as you measure penis only and not include in the measurement whatever the foreskin overhang is

My erect penis has no foreskin overhang, there's barely enough and its quite tight...although I CAN retract it it takes conscious effort and doesn't do so on it's own. I can see how for a guy with more forskin though he'd need to pull it back.

Also, I thought that with the foreskin retracted, it pushes out more and you get a little extra length? Although sometimes my penis loses length when I pull it back...so many unanswered questions lol.

I know there are penes with foreskins that actually hang pass the head and might give a little more length in measurement, but the VAST majority of uncut dicks are similar to Paul Vincent's although not necessarily tight over the head. When erected my foreskin can be pulled down to cover most of my head, but I do actually have to pull it down with fingers of both hands. As for retracting the foreskin pushing the erected dick out longer, I'm unable to see how that would be possible. I think the head and shaft remain the same thickness and length, regardless of the position of the foreskin. -- so many dicks, so many variations!
