What factors should I consider in deciding whether to do porn?

I've only been working out for a year so I'm expecting improvements there.

Also, I am only interested in heterosexual porn in particular with asians or mixed like Ryder Skye or Jade Hsu.

always consider what it may do to any future aspirations you may have... you wouldn't want a porn scandle on your hands if you were going to run for politics, or become a minister or even a school teacher...

other than that, you should just becareful of scammers and the usual STD's... but you may have to start in gay porn... so i've heard... plus it pays way better........ so i've heard;-)

You can start here.. Welcome to SexyJobs.com
Post your size and a few pictures that shows your face and body.. and throw in there your size..

experience too.

You will get a few emails from people, mostly in Cali - but they probably pay for the airfare.

Now, forget about what girls you want to fuck, because you must fuck a tree if directed :)

I don't recall seeing your dick personally, but if it's anything like a lot of the dicks on here, it shouldn't be too hard.

1. Put together a simple website portfolio with some sample pics, just a simple 1 page site with a contact link.

2. Visit all of the forums where adult webmasters and porn company owners hang out, and post your pics, website address, and contact info as much as possible.
GFY Webmaster Board
Netpond ™ ...
YNOT.com :: The Ultimate Adult Webmaster Resource Site
JustBlowMe.com Adult Webmaster Forum
Adult Webmaster Resources, Articles, News, Help Guides, Sites
Oprano Webmaster Messageboard

those are some of the BIG adult webmaster forums. Good luck with it, send me a private message in the future and let me know how things turn out for you.

There is no money for men in straight porn. Women in hetero movies typically make 10 to 15 times as much per film. You're especially not going to make any money at it by being picky about the ethnicity of your co-workers...

I'm sorry, but in order to be successful, you pretty much have to go the "gay-for-pay" route.

First things first, is it something you'd want your mother to know about? If so, that's a good start.
Chances are that even if you do get a casting session or a demo, you won't have much choice in who it's with, male or female. I know straight guys who've ended up fucking or being fucked by guys just for a casting. If you want to get into the industry, you've pretty much got to be prepared to do whatevery the producer/director wants, whether that be having sex with someone you find repulsive or attractive.
It's not like setting up a camera in the corner of your bedroom to record your latest conquest. You'll usually have a full crew watching. That ranges from 2-3 people for a very small production up to a dozen for the larger ones, all of whom will have seen pretty much everything before and who don't tend to hold back on the comments and criticisms if you're not fully confident about what you're doing. It can take hours to shoot a scene, and you've got to be able to stay focused and ready to go at any point. The director may decide to change the lighting for a different camera angle. That can take 20 mins or more until they're happy with it. Then you'll be expected to carry on from where you left off, so you've pretty much got to be able to get it up at a moment's notice, stay hard for ages without coming and, if you can come on command, that's great, but if they've got all the shots they want apart from the money shot and you keep them waiting at the end, they won't be too happy.

So, to sum up, when you're startint out, there's bugger all money in it for guys unless you do gay porn. You've got to be prepared to fuck or get fucked by pretty much anyone or anything and you've got to really love yourself because you'll need all your confidence on set.

Still want to do it?

It all sounds okay except the whole come on command thing. This is my biggest problem. It takes me forever that I can even get bored.

So, this isn't a job that I could just do on the side or as a hobby?

AS has already been said the money is in gay porn for guys. The profit for males in straight porn is nil. STD's are the next major problem and there is now way that people can guarantee the condition of all of the actors on a set one way or the other. Assuming you want to make money and are capable of "gay for pay" (not everybody is) you are going to have to do things that maybe you would not like. Also remember that HIV is not your primary concern anymore. There are other things that are transmitted far more easily that are equally hazardous to your health.

Some production companies also use injectable erectile agents on set because they want erections that are larger and harder than normal. They have MD's on the payroll and again you'll do what THEY want to get your dime out of the whole thing.

Foreign travel can be sacrificed. Passports can be denied and for some porn stars arrest warrants and prison terms await in foreign countries where the porn was illegally imported. You have no control as to what happens to that film or tape footage once you and it leave the set. Future jobs requiring security clearances can be lost if some person who shouldn't know finds out.

I have known some people over the years in that business. I am 55 years old and I knew a few of the better ones because as a props supplier in Hollywood I supplied for a couple of porn studios as well. I remember social occasions with a few of these men and I can tell you most of them were some of the most successful of their era and yet none of them were truly happy with what they were doing.

I would advise you to have your fun in a manner that can't come back and haunt you later. Also remember that if you really are straight the necessity of "gay for pay" could also get you a "fan club" that you may not really want. Many in that industry have done that and they have found themselves in uncomfortable situations because of it. Remember too that all orientations are found on porn sets. You can be screwing a well built lesbian while her female lover watches and wants to kill you too! That one has happened more than once.

Again this is not a decision to be taken at all lightly because once it is done you cannot undo it. It will be out there for decades.

That's fucking disgusting. Not any man can be a porn star as we all know. There has to be stamina, looks, all the things mentioned by Viking_UK, and more. Not to mention the fact that women can fake an orgasm, a man can't, plus a man is the one that has the most difficult thing to do, getting and maintaining an erection and under pressure. When you consider then how difficult it is to find a male porn star that ticks all those boxes, why do women get so much more money?

Yup...

sometimes it is required to inject "caverject" into the penis to get steel like erections.
