From what I've read in some of my pharmaceutical books, Pygeum is used primarily to treat inflammation of the prostate. So really it's not increasing your precum production, most likely it is relaxing the prostate gland to allow it to flow out easier, this would also explain the side effect of frequent urination. I could see some side effects of using it for long terms, it might actually weaken the gland and make it harder to control your bladder, however I'm not a medical professional.

I've noticed that there are two major forms of pygeum. One is the Swanson 500mg capsule containing powdered bark, and this form has been mentioned many times on this thread. Another form is a standardized bark extract, which is sometimes sold in 100mg capsules. I don't know if the doses are equal, so it might be hard for us on this forum to compare how quickly pygeum worked if we don't know what dosage we are comparing.

I use the 500mg Swanson powdered bark, and I take a total of 2 grams of it per day, which is the recommended dosage on the label. I've been taking it for 5 days. I think I am peeing more often. I precum a decent amount anyway, so I have not yet noticed any increase, but I will see how things change over the next few weeks.

I've been taking the swanson 500mg for some time now, I take 3gram per day and it took me like a month to even notice some moistness. Don't cum for a while and drink plenty of water it will happen. I would recommending edging and getting to the point but do not climax but I certainly did not have the self control for that so I'm not going to sit here and say "her der try and edge der because it werks herp". I honestly didn't start to get precum dropplets until I added MSM to my suppliment intake. So I don't know if there is a correlation there or not.

I think I will try increasing my dosage if I don't notice any results by November 26. I read that pygeum might take 30 days to work (anecdotally, not scientifically, so I don't know what dosage was or user's age or body weight), so I might even buy another bottle just to see what happens. 1) the recommended dosage is 2 grams per day. Increasing your dose should speed up results.

2) if you don't really precum normally, you would be more likey to notice an increase, right? I mean, if someone precummed each time they did something sexual, and they precummed 10 drops more, they might not notice. But if you rarely precum, but then you precum one drop per sexual activity, that's significant!
