question about jelqing

i've yet to try jelqing because im expecting some action in the near future and don't want to be sore, but im anticipating that ill have a hard time remaining flacid while doing it. does it matter if i masturbate before starting? that way i won't get hard so easiy. any advice would be great

You can masturbate about 15 minutes or so prior to your jelqing session. You can also try doing stretches before your jelqs. Intense stretching exhausts the penile tissues, temporarily making it more difficult to get an erection immediately afterwards.
