Question about size assumptions

So I have been wondering about this for a while now, off and on. Figured this would be a decent place to ask this question. I'll begin with the backstory...

...last year during I started getting sexually close to a female friend of mine I went to school with a year or so prior. During our time at school we just hung out together and with other friends. During a conversation after we were having sex for a month or so, she told me "You're bigger than I thought you would be"...

That immediately had me thinking, and I asked her, what did she mean by it, but she couldn't explain it. Just that she thought I'd be smaller/less than average size.

So here is the question...Women, what to you use to base assumptions on the size of a man's package? I"m not a small guy, 5'11" with an athletic build (for reference).

Yeah, I think that's more likely luck of the draw. Not anything you can base on empirical evidence. I've met some very confident small penised men. And very shy men with large ones.

These assumptions were common among my female friends in our 20s. The assumnption didn't motivate them to do anything as far as I knew, but they definitely had ideas. A lot of the ideas were really laughable. I remember a couple of women I knew had heard from an older, seemingly worldly woman that you could judge a man's size from his gait and that a very confident walk meant a nine incher! They told me through giggles that one guy fit their impressions. I snidely, but truthfully, told them he had had a serious back injury and was never quite put right again and that was what they were seeing! I really hope they outgrew that phase!
