I think maybe it really comes down mostly to what we're accustomed to.

But guys who are circed but oppose circumcision are not opposed primarily for aesthetic reasons, I don't think.

What is lovely about a scar, as opposed to skin that nature put there?
I find skin bridges unattractive, some of the color mismatches look very odd, and some people look like they were circumcised with a chain saw.
Just my opinion, sorry if it offends.

I'm from the US and am cut. It was not my choice since I was cut right after birth, as most are. I am, however, unhappy that I was not given the choice. I don't have any issues with my cut penis, but after finding out that there was such a thing as uncut penises and doing some research on the matter, I would prefer to be uncut. I doubt that I'll spend the money to get foreskin reconstruction surgery, but I will definitely not cut any male children that I might have and leave the choice to them.

Im American of a Latino background and I am very fortunate my parents chose not to circumcise me at birth...I LOVE BEING UNCUT and many American guys I've been with actually really enjoy my foreskin :)

Most Brits are not circumcised. As for smelling etc, I can recall my dad telling me how to pull my foreskin back and wash there when I was about 5. It's only insanitary if you don't wash.

In europe, it is quite common for men to not know that circumcision is "prevalent" in countries like USA. Unless a guy has watched lots of porn, he wouldn't know.

There are many places where parents never discuss circumcision to their boys, so they may not even know what it is.

However, with the advent of the internet, I suspect that cases of europeans being unaware of circumcision will become the exception rather than the norm.
