I'm too scared to ask friends cause they're all pretty conservative so here it goes...

I've been lucky enough to score a couple girls the last two times I've gone out (never scored twice in a row, lol). One wasn't too cute, but the other was actually one of the cuter girls I've gotten in a long time.

Anyways, both times we've come back we've been pretty drunk. The thing is, I've gotten on girls and had sex just fine even when I was way, way drunker. Now, even a little bit of alcohol and I can't seem to get all the way hard (usually can only get about 80%). Girls have told me I'm pretty hung and if I'm not all the way hard then it just won't go in.

Is this just part of getting older? If so, this sucks. What can I do to fix this? Should I be stashing some pill close to my bed?

I know this is a rather generic question, but I'm using my phone and the search feature isn't working too well for me.

Thanks guys.

well drinking alcohol will eventually be troublesome when trying to reach an erection no matter how old you are and doctors everywhere can and will tell you that mixing the two (pills and alcohol) are not smart ideas. just deal with the fact that your body is changing.

Yeah sure, it is part of getting older. Young guys have enough circulating testosterone to often be somewhat immune to "whiskey dick" but you are now at an age at which your testosterone levels are going to be dropping off.

As time goes on, you might find that you don't have to drink to observe this phenomenon. But guys are lucky these days that there are drugs that work for the majority of men with erectile dysfunction, unlike prior generations. For now, just avoid drinking heavily if you think you might get lucky. Stop smoking (if you do) and get regular cardiovascular exercise. Resistance training (e.g, weight training) is thought to boost testosterone levels.

And accept the fact that sometimes it just happens and that you will probably never get as rock hard as you did when you were 18-20. The more you worry about it the worse it gets.

Sleep that night, fuck her the next morning. Just because I go home with a girl doesn't mean I automatically fuck her. If you fuck on your own terms, you may find your erection problems go away.

It' sfun to be young and to drink as much as you want, but it's not good for you and will eventually cause health problems that you don't want to deal with. The most obvious, and the most common I believe, is that alcohol disrupts your sleep patterns. It is nearly impossible to get a normal full nights sleep with any amount of alcohol in your blood. Then there is the erection issue. At 24 you are at the beginning of the time when you start noticing that you are no longere a teenager. As an adult you need to start protecting your health. It may be a waste of my time to say that drinking is an unhealthy habit and that you should quit drinking (yes, probably a waste). Good luck.

There are definitely parts of aging that everyone has to deal with, but I'm of the opinion that most 'aging' problems people have are just the result of behaviour changes as you get older. If you're aware of what you want sexually, and make sure to keep physically active and don't just turn in to a lump in an office chair, you can have hard erections for a long long time.

I'm 29 and I found that when I was 16, I was rock-hard all the time (often at very inconvenient times.) The only times I have problems with that is when I get really anxious, so I find when I'm drunk I get especially hard since I have no inhibitions holding me back. Whiskey dick is more problematic as most people age since alcohol weakens your circulation, so if you have average/poor cardiovascular health to begin with, you might be fine sober but your EQ drops off sharply as you drink. I was quite a bit fatter just 5 years ago and could get whiskey dick then, but I'm healthy now and it's no longer a problem.

Regardless I'd love to see you with/in my wife. She had a lover who was big like you and he never got fully hard until he was inside of her.

Alcohol is a depressant so your dick responds. I like to think of the word suppressant instead of depressant. Makes it easier to understand. Alcohol can and will suppress your cock from achieving a 100% hard on. And you are right, it is tougher to get in when your cock is at 80%.

You can still put your dick in someone when its not hard. It's a bit difficult but it can be done. Then you can usually get hard.

Of course you should sort out the underlying issue first. Which is probably nerves or "performance anxiety". Try having just one or two drinks or no drinks at all.

I agree with most of your post but not this bit. Imo (and experience) you should still be getting rock hard well into your 30s.

The alcohol will affect it tho - so cut down (one or two drinks - or none) and see if there's any difference. There probably will be, but if not, get it checked out - there should be something the Doc can do to help. :)

you should be able to get rock hard. Eliminate the alcohol.
I agree.

I agree.

The fact of the matter is that there are a significant number of young guys who experience erectile dysfunction.

Grrrr not another lad worrying - here's the thing
condoms too tight - get a bigger one
condoms too lose - get a smaller one and stop worrying
If latex condoms are causing a rash - use latex free
Always use a condom, you don't want a baby or and STI
reduce alcohol intake - you don't really need it
relax and have plenty of foreplay
Get to know your partner a bit before shagging - find out likes and dislikes
If you are stressed about anything - try and put it out of your mind and deal with it later
Do not worry about a bit of ED, if you do it might get worse because you are stressing about it. All men get a bit from time to time

DO NOT run to the 'little blue pills' online or elsewhere, see your doctor ED can be caused by underlying medical conditions such as heart disease. Taking Viagra etc will only mask something potentially serious and make matters for the heart worse.

If you smoke - STOP - smoking can damage the sphincter muscle in the penis, this holds the blood inside for the erection - viagra will not help at all.

If you are overweight start a diet - don't do a crash diet you will only end up putting the weight back on, eat healthily.

relax, think happy thoughts and enjoy your sex life
