Has your penis always gotten hard and gone that direction since you were a kid?

At what age did you first start masturbating?

And for you older guys: has your 'erection direction' or curve changed at all as you've gotten older?

==

I brought up this question because as far as I can remember mine has curved up and pointed up. I started masturbating about 3rd grade, and even then my erection was upward pointing and layed on my stomach.

A friend of mine swears up and down that your curve and direction is caused by masturbation. I had to respectfully disagree, but I wanted to get the experts opinions.

Mine is straight out. Always as been. I had a room mate in college however who curved to the right. He said the doctor told him it was because of the way he was circumcised. The skin is tighter on one side. I'm not sure of that as I know uncut guys who curve as well - up down, left or right. Maybe the curve down (for an uncut guy) could be attributed to a tight foreskin but otherwise, I have no idea why we are straight or curved.

Curved down and always has. I had always worn it tucked between my legs growing up too. I was always self conscious about my size for it has always been big for my size. I feel this is the main factor in curvatures. When I got of sexual age and of some experience I started wearing it downward but where it was more comfortable and would show.

I guess I was about 14 when I started masturbating.

Masturbation technique can not affect the curvature. The penis is squashed up in our drawers 24/7. This would have much more influence on curving than a few minutes a day in our hands.

The up curved ones is easy to see that wearing the dick pointed north in the underwear is the factor for this curvature.

But then too, there are the perfectly straight ones. They are not placed in underwear straight.

I can see how a poorly done circumcision could make curves.

According to Textbooks, a penis is supposed to be straight. Any upward or downward curve is a defect and is curable with surgery.

I'm curved down and towards the right.I
think that it grew in that direction because
of my tendency to tuck it between
my legs when I was a kid.

I started masturbating at 20 or 21.

n curve on mine, always has been. i wear mine hanging down in my boxers and even wore it down as a kid. i found wearing it up to be uncomfortable and if i ever got hard, there was nothing to keep it in my pants. started jerking at 12, but the slight n curve was there before and after.

I did a little more reading on this...

A normal penis curvature is called a congenital curve, which shouldn't require any type of surgery and is very common and natural.

Peyronie's Disease, however, is an extreme and painful curve that might require surgery.

I have noticed that my erection curves slightly upward after circumcision. I'm not sure if it's related to that. I have boners since I was 8 but I started masturbating when I was 13.

Penile curvature
"Congenital or inborn penile curvature is caused by asymmetry in compliance of tissue in either the shaft or base of the penis. Deviation can be to the left, right, upward, downward or a combination. This condition has been reported to be present in 1% - 6% of men. Mild curvature is common and does not cause much symptoms. More significant penile angulations not only cause sexual dysfunction, difficulty and pain on intercourse or total coital incapacity, but also cause severe psychological problems. Surgical intervention to cure penile curvature is required when coital function is affected."

A congenital curvature is called "Chordee"
An acquired curvature is call "Peyronie's Disease."

A 'chordee' appears to be a curavature at the head only. However, a congenital curve appears at the shaft or base and much less severe (by your post).

And yes, Peyronie's D, is acquired.
