Question for Those Who Work from Home

I was at a conference recently and was chatting with an acquaintance who I knew works from home most of the time. I made a comment like "I get to dress down since this is a business causal conference and my company is traditional business dress most of the time, but I guess you have to dress up because you can telecommute in shorts and a t shirt.
He said something like "I can work shorts and a t-shirt and sometimes do, but I don't have to wear anything so most of the time I don't.
I was a little surprised at this comment.
If you work from home, what do (or don't) you normally wear?
If you work naked or in very little clothing, would you admit it to an acquaintance at a casual conversation at a conference?

I work part time from home and when I do, I'm generally just in boxer briefs or whatever underwear I put on that morning. No need to put anything more on unless someone is going to be coming to the house, and even then it's usually just a pair of gym shorts.

I would and have told others that I do just that, but I think many people believe I'm joking when I tell them.

This may not be the appropriate place or an appropriate forum/thread for this but...
Does anyone know of any of those work-at-home jobs that are entry-level, no experience needed? I have tried hard to find one, but it's scary trying to find a job like that by googling. Too many scams. My financial situation demands that I try.
Can anyone help?? Thanx.

i've always been told that if you work from home you're supposed to do everything in your power to make that HOME OFFICE situation just like you're at work.. so that you minimize distractions and can match productivity. Even if I worked from home on a regular basis, I don't think I'd be able to keep focused on my KEYBOARD if I had my family jewels out in my lap! :)

I work from home 90% of the time now as of the last 7 months - actually I prefer to go in to the office, but Where I live it's just viable for me to work from the companies office most of the time.

What I wear really depends on heat, normally I'm in boxerbreifs and a tee, but obviously depends on what else I'm required to do during the day.

In fairness, I find work trousers hideous as far as design is concerned and 90% of the ones I've tried don't accommodate my legs and crotch (oddly I think I have posted about this previously on here) so the ability to work in underwear is a blessing!

I work from home all the time, phone and computer. I only wear a pair of gym shorts. I keep a T-shirt near the door in case somebody knocks. I have a different pair of gym shorts that I wear to bed.
I do not have to do much laundry.

I work from home and I tend to me naked in in underwear most of the time, I'm only responded to emails and phone calls and so nobody knows.

I work from home, most of the time sitting up in bed, with the T on in the background. My clothing is almost always dependent on the weather. This time of year, I am either fully dressed or wearing PJs. In the summer, I am usually wearing boxers or sleeping shorts, sometimes with a shirt or not. Very seldom completely naked.

I've worked from home for a year, but before that for 13 years on a previous job (intervening jobs were in the office, dressed up).

Someone above was right; you have to look at your home office as "the office"; when you go to work, you go to work. When you are done working, get up and close the door and you're home. Don't mix the two.

While working I usually wear either gym shorts and a t-shirt or boxer briefs and a t-shirt. It's just me.

One nice thing: only have to shave if I'm going out somewhere....
