From what I read in profiles, I see more French "speakers" than I expect !

Alors, où avez-vous appris à parler Français ? :)

Bonjour! Je parle français car je suis né en Belgique et c'est ma langue maternelle !

Je parle aussi Néerlandais (seconde langue nationale), Anglais bien sûr et aussi un peu l'Espagnol.

Allez, dis, une fois ! (belgicisme :p )

BoneMachine: My grammar is probably horrible by now...

Je parle francais un peu. J'ai appris le francais au lycee.

I don't speak fluently by any means, but I was always the quickest learner in my french classes. :) I love languages.

Je suis Canadien français dans une province à majorité francophone (le Québec) alors la question ne se pose pas. Outre le français, je parle l'anglais et l'allemand.

Bonjour de Montréal! ;)

if you don't understand a thing, and you don't speak French but still want to know what it is said here, I suggest you to use an online machine translator.

Here are some I know that work quite not bad :

Google -language tools

Reverso

Worldlingo

Of course, it won't be translated as good as a professional translator, since those are robots. But well, you can get the main ideas. :D

Hope that helps. :)

What a lovely sentiment. It would have been easier and much less offensive for you to just skip the thread. As thefrench_h hinted, America doesn't own the internet and as far as I know LPSG doesn't have an actual office on U.S. soil yet, so this site is welcome to all.

I love the fench and france. I still have family living there, my aunt in St. Dizer. I can't wait untill Herble and I go on vacation this summer, I think were going to end up doing Europe and there will definitly be somet time spent in france.

*dances happily*

I just wish my grandmother had not come to america, then I would have been born in france.
