Somewhere, a while back (sorry no cite), I read the average was approx. 7 mintues, which seems reasonable. That's what I've heard on the subject, so that's all I know.

I've tended to last a bit longer than that in action.

Oh, to add for another topic of discussion... I've noticed when the female is on top and I'm pointing upwards to penetrate, I tend to last significantly longer than other positions. I agree on all counts. Most guys seem to last longer if they're on the bottom. Maybe it's a gravity thing . I also agree there are lots of things you can do to help a guy last longer. Another one I noticed is sometimes if the guy is on top he can last longer if he moves his legs further apart. There also seem to be things guys can do on their own to practice lasting longer. Personally I enjoy when guys do this. I can understand how some women who orgasm best from oral are OK with a guy lasting 5 minutes because she already got hers. I am not that woman.
