I really can't abide Mike Pence.

Mike Pence agreeing to stand beside and support Donald Trump as his running mate speaks volumes about his own character. Trump's despicable character was well known by the time Pence jumped on board that train wreak. Of course his backing of Ted Cruz also will tell you about where is is coming from. His "decency" and Reagan-like demeanor comes off as a well practiced, yet phony facade which hides some rather mean-spirited beliefs and policy. His extreme positions on reproductive rights, on Planned Parenthood funding, his homophobic comments about same-sex couples, his support for a so-called religious freedom bill that would have allowed any individual or corporation to cite its religious beliefs as a defense when sued by a private party, and his voting against the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, three times-- are all indicative of a man stuck in the past, having little interest in moving the country forward.

I have heard various pundits say that he is preparing a run at national office in 2020. That would be another defeat for the GOP. Pence and his positions mirror exactly the problems the party identified in their post-mortem of the 2012 election.

Anyhow in light of Donald's bragging about being a sexual predator, Mike's past as his spear-carrier will hopefully end his political future.
