Racism

edit: so it's not cool from any one to call anyone else from your race or not, outside their name.

There's nothing mild about it. I hate hearing the term "jungle bunny" and "uncle tom" it may not be the "n" but trust me folks the rage inside builds. So its cool from any one to call anyone else, from your race or not, outside their name.

If you want to attack someone attack their character, fuck even their clothes-go watch Mean Girls for a tutorial.

Bingo!! If we could all be a little more grown-up and a lil less kindergarten, we could be far more civil. That or be less sensitive, and quit whining!! I've worked retail before and had to deal with people saying I was racist, because I didn't think like them {"they" being the people who thought everything should be free, (whites included, they just didn't claim racism)}. I had a black man tell me I was racist because I wouldn't give him a free container of armor-all, after he left it at the carwash. My girlfriend was a receptionist for a chiropractor. One day a black woman came in 30 min late for her appt. with no phone call. When she was told that others were in ahead of her, and that she was late, she called all the women racist and stormed out. What kind of shit is that? Everyone has these stories about everybody else, so again I agree with the quoted poster that we should just leave each other alone, and monitor our own behavior.
Also noone should "cry wolf" with the racism claims, disagreeing with a minority, or the Pres. does NOT constitute racism. It will lead to the idea that racism is not a problem (if the claim is thrown around loosely like the 2 examples from my experiences), and that would be tragic.

That is very true. As many have stated it is a disservice to others when people actually do try to use any "ism" to justify illegitimate actions. It is sort of like the man who dialed 911 because Burger King didnt have anymore of some type of food that he was craving. There are always those who are going to try to abuse a mechanism to get their way. But unfortunately because there has been such a long history of injustice such people often do get someone to listen to them whether right or wrong .
