So basically You're saying all gay people should have the desire to fuck every man walking the face of the earth, or...

And let us not forget:
  • Agesist if they're not our age.
  • Weightist if they weigh a different amount than we do.
  • Incomeist if they earn a different salary than us.
  • Dietist if they're not a fellow vegetarian.
  • Lenseist if they wear glasses and we don't.
  • Hirsuiteist if their hair is a different length than ours.
  • Inkist if they don't have the same tattoos as us.
Speak for Yourself - but don't try to pin that one on the rest of humanity.

Personnally I find very odd your attempts to apply your comments to a visibly identifiable race of people, as all of the above can change or be manipulated.

Its nothing to do with pinning anything on the rest of humanity as you so grandly declare,,,, just a request to not be so grossly offensive, after all thats the mark of a civilised society isnt it?

Actually, it was just my (skewered humour) attempt to expose the clueless immature poster I was responding to for what he is.

I definitely have certain personal preferences in the area as to which groups generally appeal to me, and I do not date or have sex with members of certain specific groups, but it isn't because I hate them or wish them ill. I have no obligation to have sex with or date anyone. I feel that anyone is entitled to their own preferences in partaking of consenting adult sexual behavior.

Well said however its those jerks that openly advertise their dislike of a certain race that is is offensive

I can tell you for sure that the line is when you close off an entire race.

It's one thing to say that you prefer a certain group or type of person, but when you see a skin colour and decide that it's a not because of that, it's racist.

Like I don't generally go for Asian guys. But it's not like when a guy says he's Asian, I stop talking to him, or when I see Asians in the club, I just turn away.

I give everyone a chance. I have my preferences, I have what I like... but it's not like I haven't crushed on an Asian before. That's the difference.

It's like saying "I don't date blondes"... why not? If the love of your life dyed his hair blonde, would you no longer be attracted to him? no.
The only difference there is that it's something the person can change. Which is WHY it would be racist to say, "if you weren't black/white/asian/middle eastern/etc I'd like you"

Racism is not having a prefference. Racism is the belief that your ethnicity makes you superior to another. Or the belief that your race some how plays a part in how you act & your ability. Any other definition is a skewed one.

Well...I prefer women with dark brown or black hair...I guess I am a brown supremacist too>raising fist<......well I even used to be one...but my hair has a lot more gray in it now.

Frankly, as a black man,....I prefer women of color....but my first two girlfriends were white, and I've had at least 4 more over the years, also had 4 Puerto Ricans.. a Columbian, a Vietnamese and an East indian. Funny...I've had more non black women in my life than black......and I prefer black, huh? I think part of it is the mindset of "staying with your own race". When I worked in LE, I heard that from more cops....all white guys. I never understood it....I figured you can't control who you fall in love with...and even someone who isn't your type can have SOMETHING attractive about them. But I have noticed that I gravitate toward women with dark shiny hair. Look at the ethnic groups I've dated.....all have dark hair. Even the second white girl I dated was Italian...and had jet black hair, and huge tits.....The only exception was my first..who had sandy blond hair...

I like latino guys, they are my preference and what i would pursue, however if other races want to pursue me, i would not object.

I don't think attractions should be confused with racism.

I think if you are attracted to whatever X type of person is that is not racism.

If however you have an attraction to X type of person, you bond or hit it off and then a person decides not to pursue the relationship then racism could be playing a factor; if the persons race is the only thing preventing following their natural instincts, attractions or intentions.

It is interesting sometimes to watch how people bond differently when placed in different situations, where commonality and mutual survival becomes more important
than and override the race factor.

It honestly does not matter...if a person has a nice personality, is nice looking and a great physique....then I would find attractive..... :)
