Myopic, with the face of a marshmellow salesman and built low to the ground along the lines of the Pilsbury doughboy, Ralph led a more or less anonymous life, or as anonymous as a $208,000 a year ( plus $6,000 for misc. expenses) executive director for the ill-fate Tampa Expressway Authority could be. After all, some publicity is expected when concrete pillars collapse and projects run years behind and billions over budget. Yet Ralph's personal Waterloo came about when the Tampa Tribune discovered Mervine's other business, owner of a gay production company called Coast Production, based in the Hillcrest section of San Diego.

Governor Fed Up With Expressway Authority

Now the indigation and hand wringing has extended all the way up to outgoing governor Jeb Bush, another Republican who seemingly cannot discern between gay Lincoln, Reagan or gay Evangelical Republicans.

Ralph's main website has either crashed and/or been shut down; a secondary site, CoastGuys.com is still up. In the main time, Ralph has skipped town leaving behind a lot of puzzled folks who confess they never really knew the humble-homely engineer.

More fun with Ralph today in the Tampa Tribune. Seems the roly-poly Tollway guy with the bad toupee has broken Federal laws pertaining to his websites containing skinny 18-21 year-old guys with small penises.

Yeah that guy was really something- oversaw an embarrassing number of snafus with the Tampa expressway system and was allowed to keep his job and finally had to be brought down solely due to a porn site- Guess an abysmal work record is OK in Tampa
