This hasn't happened to me since I got the job I currently have, thank fuck.. but I remember when I was waiting tables and as a barista more times than I like to think about, random men (customers) decided to tell me that looking at me while I work made them hard.

The first time I was just silent, I didn't know what to say. I just pretend he didn't exist anymore and he eventually walked away (luckily). After a couple more times my reply is simply "I can go get my manager or you can leave on your own".

One idiot even tried to get me to go to the bathroom. The public bathroom. To fuck a random stranger. Just... Too stupid for words. And, fucking scary as fuck. He was so bold about it. There was a room full of people behind him so I boldly told him "No, you need to leave NOW". When the rest of the room looked right at him he hurried out of the building.

Has this ever happened to you, and if so how do you handle it?

If some rando needs me to acknowledge his boner I am going to need for him to acknowledge the negative feeling provoked by his disclosure.

To quote Queen Latifah "I punched him dead in his eye"

Or throat. Or sternum. Hulk smash of his junkal area.

The fact that it doesn't happen to me anymore more that I don't work in food service says a lot to me.

People who work in service are subjected to all kinds of harassment, and if you're a woman there's an emphasis on the sexual kind.

In my current job I'm still technically "serving" people but it's in a medical setting and I have a crew of men with me. So the dynamic of my work environment doesn't offer many opportunities for creepers to talk to me that way.

The kind of person who does that takes advantage of opportunities. When they know you're stuck on the clock and can't just leave they feel emboldened to act like complete trash.

They're confident that there's nothing you can do to fight back. They think you're forced to accept that kind of treatment because "the customer is always right". WRONG bitch.. you are not right if you think describing your aroused (and unwanted) penis to me and having me tolerate it is part of my job. You're horribly, stupidly mistaken.

Then there's the whole other issue of coworkers being predatory as fuck... Again, that isn't something I deal with at work anymore. Thank fuck. The guys I work with now are good people. I imagine if someone did try to pull some shit like that on me at work my guys would kick them the fuck out promptly. It's a good feeling. Not that they're "white knights" (I hate that stupid term but fuckboys reading need clarification), they're just good human beings who don't accept shitty behavior.

I've had something like this happen a few times. I don't know if it was an age thing or a service position thing or both but I would be pretty shocked if it happened in my current job.

It's a horrible feeling - humiliating and weirdly isolating when it happens in front of lots of people. Also makes me wonder if they are fucking nuts and wary in my response.

My years as a counter jockey/floor troll in an adult emporium had a rotating cast of randos who shop plopped to stare. Lol creeper peepers gazing over/down the aisle.

Some were bold enough to offer up their kink in the form of periodicals from our vast selection, trying to elicit a response, mostly to cause discomfort. Foolish rando. I am the Roy Batty of kink, I have seen some shit. No scamper away before I bite.

I can not imaging how truly, epically shit men can be to service workers and those reliant on tips. Karens with all the usual lack of tact or empathy with an additional predatory obsession with his own prick. Uughh.

When I worked at the agency in Atlanta there were always two or three men like that. They were peers, too, which they thought made it acceptable. My supervisor was a pig as well, but these guys were just sophomoric.

"Damn, girl, look what you did to me."

"Sorry, I almost knocked your coffee cup off your desk with this thing."

"Man, I gotta get laid soon to get this bad boy to behave."

I started writing down everything they did that was out of bounds. And they did a lot. If it came to a head with HR I had my notes to back me up. Most situations took care of themselves, but when I was secure enough in my job I finally told them to go to hell and take their pea shooters with them.

I thought of fighting fire with fire by having a comeback, but I didn't want to stoop to their level. Two of them were married, and I seriously thought of showing my notes to their wives at a Christmas party.

By the time they left I was apparently no fun anymore, so that had either behaved or found another target.

HR did get involved with one of them, but I never learned for what. I always assumed it was his chauvinistic behavior, but he had other issues too.

Sometimes I wish I had gone to HR, but I worried that it would backfire on me. That was a last resort.

what *we* did to them? oh ffs.
I wish adult men would take responsibility for their own lack of control. I suggest they wear blindfolds in public.

When my partner describes how physically aroused he gets by looking at my body is a complete turn on. He doesn't blurt it out in front of anyone and he's always respectful in a kinky way that I can very much appreciate because he knows who I am. He knows me, and he knows my sex. What kind of sex I like, how I fuck, how I don't.. so when he tells me he knows what I want to hear. I'll even ask him to tell me how horny I make him. I tell him how wet he makes me.

Random men who I'm obligated to provide a professional service to (or along side) don't know me like that. They haven't proven to me that they're safe, and are worth a fuck. I don't take it as a compliment if it's some dude I don't know because it's not a fucking compliment. Penises get hard. I know that. I also know that they get hard for people who aren't even all that attractive in the eyes of the penis-owner. Can I count how many men I've met in my life who have admitted that they would still fuck someone they flat out do not even fucking like? Nope.. so why is a strange hard dick supposed to make me swoon? It fucking doesn't.

I used to flash my husband to get a "rise" out of him. It was usually pretty effective. He's my only target. He's my favorite and only naked friend.

That's super creepy! Thank God I have never worked in service industry jobs where creepers are easily accessable.

It transcends work class. A man running for county office made inappropriate remarks while I was interviewing him.

The fancy mens getting stacks fat in my chosen profession are the worst. The more these walking erectile tissue feebs think they can do for your career the more entitled they feel to comment and act on peepee impulses.

No. Not today. Not this bitch.

Not surprised by that...it isn't like politicians are known for keeping it in their pants :(
I think my point was missed.
I, a degreed professional (journalist), got the same smarmy crap on the job as TNJ did in the coffee shop.

A creep came up to me from behind in a crowded bus and started rubbing. I first ignored thinking how crowded the bus was. But he came up from behind to let me know, he's got a boner, nd cum in his own pant cause of me.

NO LOOKING BEHIND, WALKED STRAIGHT OFF THE BUS
