amazing what responsibility does to a person

Of ambitions, it is less harmful, the ambition to prevail in great things, than that other, to appear in every thing; for that breeds confusion, and mars business.

ALL RESPECT to those who have sadly lost there lives with guns USA for that matter WW

but this NYT picturelog personally irks me
bet they wouldent do a similar/place pictures of those who have lost there lives thru guns in the US

its the typical USA crap of interference in another countries policies that make the other people of the World mighty sick of American behaviiour at times

bit of a difference when its designed to eliminate drug use think of the countless 000s saved especially the younger population,as compared to whatever number ammendmebnt your fascination of guns comes under

and why place that entire article in black

Slaughtering us like animals”: A Times photographer offers an extraordinary look at the Philippines’ crackdown on drugs

suggest sameTimes photographer should do a similar article on ...
and use the same terminology 'SLAUGHTERING'

“Slaughtering us like animals”: A Times photographer offers an extraordinary look at the Philippines’ crackdown on drugs

Wednesday, December 7, 2016 9:09 AM EST

The photographer Daniel Berehulak has covered war, death and disease. “What I experienced in the Philippines,” he writes, “felt like a new level of ruthlessness: police officers’ summarily shooting anyone suspected of dealing or even using drugs, vigilantes’ taking seriously President Rodrigo Duterte’s call to ‘slaughter them all.’”
These photographs — which document 57 homicide victims over 35 days — take you inside Mr. Duterte’s bloody and chaotic campaign against drugs, which has claimed thousands of lives since he took office on June 30.

WELL
i sure hope T MAY does not start trying to do an OBAMA replacement and place the UK to the forefront as being in cahoots with the dastardly SAUDIS and there USA style WAR/killing mentaliity

all in the name of trade between the UK and Arab states
what a lot of dangerous ongoing political crap

Prime Minister Theresa May says Britain will deepen its "defense cooperation" with the Gulf Arab monarchies.

Prime Minister Theresa May says Britain will deepen its "defense cooperation" with the Gulf Arab monarchies. She made the announcement in Bahrain while attending the annual Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council. May also stated that she would work with countries like Saudi Arabia to push back against what she called "Iran's aggressive regional actions". The UK is now the world's second largest arms exporter after the United States. The majority of UK armaments are sold to Gulf States with Saudi Arabia purchasing about $4.2 billion worth since last year.

have never had any hesitation in believing this was a possibility
even then the USA was supposed to have the best most advanced modern eveything

to nell with your western CTs,its been a belief and i dont feel inclijed to vary it,just bc you should be a straigth honest believer in the garbage the USA authorities put out

i dont need to be patriotic and loyal to the US

let the Asians sort there own situation out
nosey interferring USA keep your nose out of it
of course youve already been trying to enlist Australia to act on your behalf in the area

International trade routes
Chinas not trying to stop any of that apparently

as for Duterte
your already trying to typecast him as another Putin or Kim, as if your Nixon/Bush Obama to name a few, have been any better

There is some evidence regional tensions have calmed over the Spratlys since Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte softened his country's stance towards China's claims in August.

But China maintains much of the South China Sea — with its islands, rocks and reefs are part of its ancient trade routes, justifying its sovereignty claims.

a thought
dont be surprized if Boris Johnson resigns as FM of the UK
after all he was only appointed by her for that role huh

i doubt he wants any part of nor be involved with T MAYS possible warmongering attempts with her SAUDIS/Arab States killing coalition the previous failed OBAMA ADMIN helped create

and now she sees an opening there
what a way to make the UK a powerful nation again, very suspect?

and i hear the UK is doing a massive job in supplying the Saudis with aircraft/munitions now, attacking not only the Syrians but Yemen also
going to watch closely what devious military activities the UKs going to get up to with those Arab states now that T MAY is starting to reveal herself
in the name of trade/leaving the Eu huh

perhaps sees a way for the UK to be the Saudis partner in crime/killng BS given incorrect information so they can airstrike bomb kill anything
seeing the US may not be readily doing so under Trump???

gee theyre all a BAD BAD pack of bastards
if i am wrong will say so later but again at the moment very very suspect?

WOW!!!

getting a bit rocky in our region
NZ/INDONESIA/SOLOMONS current mmmm
incl others prior?
dont forget NZs 2 deaths? 1 of which m
still may noty have been quake related
seems they have chosen to leave it at 2?

I agree that Obama receiving the Nobel Peace Prize was a joke, but the joke wasn't on Obama. The joke was on the leftist members of the Peace Prize Committee who, in awarding Obama, were exhibiting their political bias and dislike of Obama's predecessor. Typical liberals making decisions based on emotion rather than fact.

'I really believe that Russia is the leader of the free world right now'

“I really believe that Russia is the leader of the free world right now,” Heimbach told Business Insider in a recent interview. “Putin is supporting nationalists around the world and building an anti-globalist alliance, while promoting traditional values and self-determination.”

Russian President Vladimir Puti
Russian President Vladimir Putin has emerged as a hero of several prominent alt-right figures, raising new questions
about the Kremlin’s influence on the far-right, white nationalist movement that has asserted itself as a new force in American politics.
Whether Russia has played a direct role in awakening the American alt-right, whose resurgence as a crusade against establishment politics coincided with the rise of President-elect Donald Trump, is debatable.
