Have you ever had a room or area smell like something for no logical reason? My bedroom has smelled like apples all day. Absolutely no reason for it. But it doesn't even smell like REAL apples, really... it smells like apple-scented things. I don't own any apple-scented things, and it's starting to drive me crazy! Make it go away. :frown1:

Apples? Not what I was expecting

One night my roommate had a female friend over and she slept in his bed. They didn't even fool around, but the next morning, it was like a stinkbomb of bad morning breath had gone off in his room and was spreading throughout the apartment!

I don't know where I'd be without "Linen & Sky" Febreeze.

The say apparent smells can have paranormal reasons. Bad spirits make bad smell, like rotten cabbage, good ones smell like flowers and sanctity smells like roses, apparently.

I've been in a church once and it was flooded with the smell of flowers, it lasted about a minute and was completely gone. I've had my grandmother perfume appear from time to time as well.

But apples? No idea, I'n afraid.

Ok thanks. I always think if spirits could hurt us dont you think there would be alot more dead people? But then I think well maybe that is why so many people do die. LOL. Its a never ending circle in my damn head!

No, I don't think the dead, departed, ghosts, spirits, whatever you call them, can kill. However they can frighten the living shit out of us and even lead us into harms way.

I'm not sure, but as the saying goes, if shit don't stink, don't poke it. :)

LOL. So true. I have seen a man sitting on my bed once then he just vanished. I know I'm going to get called out on this but I swear it is true. I think I pissed myself froze in spot and could not even speak a damn word because I was so scared. But hey maybe I just drunk to much coffee? I still think that is a bunch of BS, the whole "if you drink alot of coffee you see and hear things" that is.

I've had olfactory hallucinations all my life. They're one of my migraine trigger alerts.

They're not rotting-flesh nasty, but they're hardly pleasant, either.

It could be an olfactory hallucination. For some people, OH is triggered by something you see or hear. The best way to know if it's OH is to ask someone else if they smell the smell.

Meg, it's been a while since you and I've talked, so we may have covered this, and i forgot... do you live in an apartment, by any chance?
