Question: Why do we talk aloud when we are alone? There is no one else around and yet something compels us to give voice to our thoughts. Why?
Conjecture: We are not alone.
The Great White Shark evolved to be the perfect hunter. It is unmatched in it's prowess in the seas. It has not had to take an evolutionary jump for millions of years. It has the perfect offense.
Imagine a creature that evolved the perfect defense. The ability to go completely unnoticed. Unseen. Unheard. Only detectable at our most extreme of our peripheral senses. Yet we see nothing. Hear nothing. So our minds dismiss it, but on some base level you know... you are NOT alone.
Food for thought.
