so a person i looked up to has quit work for his mental health. well he did have his time in so he does get his retirement benefits unlike me. i have gone through a lot mentally myself to stay in an area i don't like to work at a job i do like. i have tried to leave to work at other institutions in an area of the country i may enjoy and no such luck. i've tried for many years to reach out to people locally for friendships and have had very, very little luck. life will go on, but ever since i have been at this place things have just gotten shittier. food for thought as how shitty do things have to get until i quit and move on and hopefully be a happier person for it.

You are the captain of your fate, the master of your universe.

A wise man once told me that it is better to regret what you've done, than to regret what you haven't.
