No thx.

"yes, rape fantasies are extremely common.
no, it doesn't mean they want or would enjoy rape."

isnt the fact that is being enjoyed as a fantasy, mean it would be enjoyed if it happened in the same manner as the fantasy?

This actually surprised me when a girl i use to get high with told me she would enjoy it, if the guy was cute.

It has a lot to do with a woman being taken and ravaged. Its kind of a complement that a man would just take her, caveman style. It is the feeling of submisiveness and vunerability. The fantasy is alway better than the reality.

I doubt those feeling are around during a real rape.
The threat, the violence, the taking of one dignity, the fear, and the fight for life are not sexy unless the chick is really messed up in the head.

Rape fantasies by themselves are something of a taboo fantasy. The feeling of complete lack of control and the use of force itself having a lure.

In no way though does this mean that a fantasy enjoyed is one that should it occur in the real world would be enjoyed. Think about it, in a fantasy it is by it's very nature your fantasy, you have control of that fantasy and you can make it as intense or as tame as you choose, it's a loss of control but without a loss of self worth or respect, both common in cases of actual rape. However in the waking world there is no way to tell what is going to happen and there is a complete and utter loss of control and more importantly it is in general an attack motivated by violence.

Fantasy is one thing, but the real experience is something very different

i did my course paper on rape for my legal studies class, people have absolutely no idea about rape, here are some surprising facts:

Rape of women by men, by perpetrator[2]
Perpetrator Frequency
Steady dating partner21.6%
Casual friend16.5%
Ex-boyfriend12.2%
Acquaintance10.8%
Close friend10.1%
Casual date10.1%
Husband7.2%
Stranger2%

98% of rape is commited by someone that the victim already knows
the 2% of rape by strangers is almost always followed by a murder or attempted murder
rape by strangers is rarely motivated by lust, but by the desire to control another human, which is why almost all of "stranger rape" scenarios are perpetrated by serial rapists, who also very often happen to be serial killers, and kill or maim a majority of their victims.
This type of crime also often involves abduction, and subsequent torture over a period of days.

exactly.
her daydream. so she picks the perp, what he does, when it stops, etc.
and with no fear of disease or being murdered/beaten/mutilated when he's done.

just because you get a thrill from bungee jumping, doesn't mean you'd enjoy being pushed to your death from a tower. *splat*

it's about rush without risk.

I guess some people dont really realize what rape is (not trying to step on ANY toes).
Rape would mean pain, and you wont be wet, no lubes, it will hurt and the person who does it to you doesnt give a shit about you.
The attacker usually does more then rape and wont hesitate to kill.
Most rapists are virgins and/or very sexually frustrated.
If you are raped, then it will affect your life in ways that just shouldnt be, you wont trust anyone quickly at all, it effects your judgement, and emotions and way of thinking, no matter what a rape victim will ever say to you, that horrid event in their lives has fucked them up in the head
I personally think rape = death sentence, some guys think very lightly about it, but its the same for guys as for girls, no1 wants to be raped, its the most horrid thing you can do to a person, the lowest act known to mankind

The question I have for the ladies who have rape fantasies....what would you think of men who have those same fantasies and enjoy rape themed porn? Even though they may claim they don't want to rape anyone actually, but just enjoy the fantasy and get off to the porn?

That's all true, but I'm very curious as to what you'd think of a man having the same fantasy? I love rough porn, and rough sex, but the rape porn I've seen definitely crosses the line.

Thing is though, if you can argue that it's just a fantasy and doesn't mean anything, couldn't people who get busted for kiddie porn argue that they are not pedophiles because it's just a fantasy and they haven't acted on it? (I'm not commenting on the legality of child porn, but the morality of it...so don't take the cop out answer of "no because it's illegal" ;)

Is that the case, or is it only a matter of time before fantasy becomes a reality? And if so, is it still okay for women to fantasize about being raped, but not okay for men to fantasize about raping?

It's also pretty given in psychology that rape is more about power than lust anyway.
