So since someone disagrees with you - you question why do you let him/her voice their opinion? really? that's pretty scary

No.... Mr. "I know everything about everyone after making 16 posts".
To make a long story short, Trinity is an "anonymous" person moonlighting as a forum contributor who does nothing but spam the site with countless headlines from various online Conservative blogs and websites. Beyond the talking point or the article is sources, it knows nothing.

It pretended to be a Hillary Supporter. Then it became a Sarah Palin applauder when Hillary didn't win the Democratic nomination. Only to become a rabid Obama Hater who has created nearly 100 threads of rhetorical, anti-Obama garbage. And now, it's just regurgitating everything anti-Democratic and sourcing sites like Stormfront, a well known white supremacist website, just to illustrate how some people think Obama is bad. Did you get all of that in the 16 posts you made on this board? Probably not, so consider yourself educated.

Trinsanity is free to post whatever it wants on this board as long as the mods allow it. I'm not denying it the right to free speech or to share its opinion. HOWEVER, the price of sharing your opinion is getting responses. Say something ignorant, you'll get it in return. Trinsanity, given by its long history on this board as represented by its actions and comments, deserves all of the resentment it gets.

Maybe in the next 16 posts you make, you'll start to put together more of the pieces?

well established principles of human psychology (such as cognitive dissonance) will probably result in an uptick for Owe-bama in the polls

given the broad range, depth, and extent of the damage he has inflicted, it should only last for a few months, before the plummet in the polls continues

Since I have no idea what your talking about- and was responding to one post- maybe everyone should take into account- its ok to disagree, people are free to vote for who they wish and at the end of the day its just politics- we are all getting screwed.

The American people are against the content and process of this bill. Poll after poll has borne this out. Thank you Trinity for having the courage to tell an unpopular truth on this extremely liberal board.
You wouldn't know truth if it bit you on your tits lady. Mister HAH!!

Since I have no idea what your talking about

Of course you wouldn't. You're new here.

and was responding to one post

Of course you were... which is why a brief background was provided.

maybe everyone should take into account- its ok to disagree- people are free to vote for who they wish and at the end of the day its just politics

Unfortunately, some people will never accept that. That is why some people constantly start new threads repeating the same old nonsense, because in the end they're looking for someone to agree with them or to change someone's mind. On the surface, it's all "politics". But it's a lot more than that when you dig past the rhetoric.

we are all getting screwed.

Even so, you still have a choice between lubricant and sandpaper.

You had no points. You said a bunch of nothing. You won nothing...

...but the admiration and appreciation of everyone else on this board who completely understand your need to dismiss or deflect any conclusion or answer that doesn't already align with your bigoted ideologies.

Of course to someone like you, that would amount to nothing. Then again, you are nobody so it kinda evens out.

Id say he laid it out quite nicely.

He laid what out quite nicely? There were no points that invalidated this poll or Rasmussen's polling. Weak arguments are just that. Just because you don't like the poll doesn't invalidate it.

...but the admiration and appreciation of everyone else on this board
You really don't like the poll do you?

The poll, just like a pair of underwear will always change. It's not the current result that i don't like. What I don't like... is YOU. You're dishonest, a bigot and a racist. You could wake up tomorrow loving Obama and I honestly wouldn't give a rat's ass.

Opinion polls are done as research to try to determine the current opinion of a particular group. When other polls show that nearly two thirds of this group has no idea what it is talking about, it means that nearly two thirds of that group is making an uninformed opinion. In that regard, why would we care or base any policy decisions on the will of an uninformed public? Those polls prove two things definitively:
  1. People are not actually educated on what is in this healthcare bill.
  2. Propaganda has been fairly successful in making Obama less popular and seem incompetent.
While the Republicans, and you by extension, might try to use the 55% statistic to want it overturned, it actually is just an indication of the fact that our public is uneducated on important political/legal matters. Like that's never happened before.

As for this...
You had no points. You said a bunch of nothing. You won nothing.
Hmmmm.... So you would have no problems relying on uninformed decisions to make important decisions? Let's play a little matching game:

In all of the following situations, you need advice. Match the situation with the person more likely to give you good advice.
  1. You want to have your cancer treated by potentially life threatening means.
  2. You want to know which stocks have the greatest potential for growth.
  3. You want to know if you have the right hair for a particular style to work for you.
  4. You want to know if your legal rights are being violated by an unsavory business partner.
A. Oncologist B. Stock Analyst C. Hairdresser D. Lawyer

1.______________ 2._____________ 3.____________ 4.____________

Not clear yet? How about this:
  1. You want to know if the healthcare legislation will be more helpful or harmful.
A. Knowledgable Person B. Person so clueless they don't know what a public option is

1.______________

Here's a scoring chart for that one:
1 = Normal or Smart person 0 = Trinity

In that regard, why would we care or base any policy decisions on the will of an uninformed public?

And that is how Obama is governing and Pelosi and Reid are legislating...arrogantly assuming the American People have no idea what's good for them.

The poll you reference actually demonstrated that the Democrats had failed to present a clear definition of their public option - to be clear, there are many versions in the congressional bills and the Democrats never put together a clear message on the "public option" for fear of not getting it. That does not mean the public failed to understand the HealthCare Reform and the bills presented. Townhalls where citizens referenced sections of the bills and marched on Washington calling for lawmakers to kill the bill demonstrated that people understood what Obama and Pelosi were pushing and repeatedly REJECTED it. As most polls showed.

Even after the bill passed 55% favor Repeal. And nothing posted thus far invalidates the Rasmussen poll.

The Republicans are probably having fun watching Obama try to sell it.

CBS indicated 42 percent approving of the bill; Quinnipiac indicated 40 percent approval. Forty-six percent of those questioned in the CBS poll disapproved of the bill, with 49 percent of those questioned by Quinnipiac disapproving of the legislation.
