That might be true but what you fail to comprehend is how flimsy American public opinion is. For example, I've seen polls following the passage of the bill showing that the majority are in favor of passage. There is a large number of Americans that don't really know what they believe in and make decisions based on flimsy ques and associations... That is one of the reasons why asking the same survey question different yields different results.

I've seen the posts you have here and all I have to say is that you are very naive. At this point in the game these polls mean nothing and things are bound to change once election season kicks in. That's what always happens. While I have zero faith in the American public to vote for the right kinds of people - because let's face it, like you, most people are dumb - the Republicans have offered zero solutions for the challenges of the future. I think your party will have to redefine itself or, even if it makes short term gains, will eventually fall out of the mainstream wagon.

Nonetheless, I can really see the upcoming elections favoring Republicans due the supreme court's most regrettable recent decision which opens the door for unlimited corporate money for elections.

It's even funnier than that... Our resident troll is perfectly comfortable bashing or cheering the same exact source, depending on the poll results.... So, one day Gallup can be worthless, because it shows Obama up by 9 points, yet a few days later, Gallup is The Gospel, because it shows Obama polling flat.

lol... It's like watching a toddler throw a tantrum. It doesn't matter what the parent says or does, the child will reject the overture, because even the child doesn't know what's wrong or how to fix it. There's no point to the tantrum but control, because the child isn't emotionally or intellectually mature enough to engage the issue constructively, and effectively communicate its needs to the parent. So, the child throws a tantrum. At some point, the parent figures out that what the child really wants is to control things that are beyond its comprehension, and will correctly ignore the child. Then, and only then does the child stop the tantrum, because it realizes that nobody is listening and nobody cares.

No. Saying the poll referred to in this thread is invalid because Rasmussen Polling doesn't count is not a valid argument. Referencing a poll taken in one day (when the polls on healthcare have usually spanned three days and revisited the same callers)after the bill passed does not support the argument that a majority of people now support the healthcare bill - in fact subsequent polls from various pollsters have shown that a majority or close to a majority don't support the bill.

You guys simply want to be able to censure this site of any opposing view to Obama and the Democrat policies. If you believe what you believe and and facts and the truth backs you up, then you should have no problem discussing and proving your arguments in a political forum.

You simply don't want the opposition to have any voice.

You don't want it discussed that a majority want Obamascare repealed.

You don't want it discussed that 14 states are challenging the Obamascare bill in court as unconstitutional.

You don't want it discussed that Obama's approvals are down and a majority of the American people think he is a one term President.
