Well you already hinted but I thought you were joking. If you were prepared to relocate............................as it's too far to commute.

Sunshine, the bluest waters, and having you and your love as neighbours? How unnappealing. Who would want that? :biggrin1:

Hmmmm...... I'd give it a 6. That's actually quite good for me.

Negatives:

  • No income
  • No health insurance
  • No place of my own
  • Live in a dull small town
  • I have no friends near where I live
  • I'm fat
  • I've got a penis smaller than average
  • I'm still smoking
  • I'm 41 and have never had a boyfriend/girlfriend
  • I've recently suffered heartbreak

Positives:

  • I'm investigating what I want to really do before seeking new employment
  • I'm investigating new places to live
  • I'm making new friends near me
  • I've lost 28 lbs so far
  • I've got a quit smoking date and Zyban to help
  • I've made gains from PE
  • I'm 41 and have discovered that I have the ability to love someone else
  • I'm 41 and have discovered that I am a worthwhile person to others
  • I still have most of my hair
  • I am extraordinarily happy to have been born a man
  • I actually like my genitals even if they aren't perfect (this is a big deal for me)
  • I have a hairy chest
  • I have an IQ of 136
  • I have wonderfully supportive friends even if they all live everywhere else
  • I have a few mentors here at LPSG whose unfailing support, despite all my bullshit, has done wonders into making me a much happier man.
  • I have traveled extensively
  • I have no major health problems
  • I have two great dogs
  • I might not be as ugly as I think
  • In the past month I've had a 3-way in a steamroom and sex in a steamworks
  • I'm only 41

I'm not yet as happy as I could be, but now I can see ahead the lights of the far shores where before all was blackness and it mattered not where I wandered.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I'd say life is about a 7 or 8 today.

If you would have asked me to rate the past two years, I would have said 3... Dad died. I got diagnosed with tachycardia. I had two failed surgeries to cure the tachycardia.

Having come through to the other side, my medication keeps my heart rate at normal. I have wonderful friends. I have a great family whom I love. And I love what I do for a living.

6?
On the plus side, my favourite female tennis player is back in the top ten. WHEY!!
On the down side I have to have a knee oporation which may have fucked my swimming career. OHHH!
On the plus side I can still play tennis. WHEY!!
On the downside I'm loads better at swimming than tennis. OHHH!

Yikes! What the heck did you do to your knee? I wouldn't be so quick to give up on the swimming. I'm sure you are aware swimming is often used as physical therapy after orthopaedic surgeries. Which surgery are you having?

I trust you are aware that tennis is wicked bad on the knees and ankles because of all the lateral movement and quick starts and stops.

Well this time last week I fully expected that this week I would be a 10!
Even had it written in my diary as the start of the rest of my life....

then a brown envelope was waiting for me when I got home on Saturday so I am not a 10...

So if I am being optimistic, I'll say I am an 8, though I honestly I feel more of a 6... which is odd cos that's just not me.... maybe I shall come back and answer this again next week.....

9. Life is good. I live in an interesting place. I have a lot of great friends, a loving family, I'm in great shape and healthy as a horse. My business has it's ups and downs, but for 2 years it has been very good and the future is promising.
Five years ago life sucked, so I made some big changes and took some risks. It wasn't easy, but I am happy to have climbed out that depression.

Romantically 10

Work-wise 7 (lots of responsibility makes me feel worthwhile, but also bogs me down with busyness)

Health-wise 6 - I have a tooth that needs attention, chronic back pain that is getting worse, chronic hip-pain that is getting worse, and waning allergic doldrums. But, for the most part, i'm healthy.

I guess that averages out to 7.something....

My life is no worse or better than it ever has been, life is what you make it. Honestly, if i put a rating on my life i`d be setting myself up for a fall. If i rated it low, i`d feel sorry for myself. If i rated my life high, i`d have to live up to those expectations. I might as well mentally masterbate myself to death if i rate my life, so my answer to your question is: I`m ok enough with my life and myself so that i don`t have to rate it.
