I'm still a virgin.

But I always imagined that when it came to teen boy virgins, their arousal level would be at about an 8 when they're about to penetrate the vagina, and it jumps to 10 once they're inside, therefore, they come immediately.

I was just curious about where it was for women.

Does that make more sense?
Brother, if you're a 30 year old virgin, you need to stop asking robotic questions on websites and go meet some women! The reality of intercourse can't be properly described in your terms. It's oh so much better - all syrupy and quivery and hot and breathy and fumbly and gooooood.

Let me ask you some questions:

The first time you rode a bike without the training wheels, on a scale of 1 - 10, 1 being not excited at all and 10 being squealing with excitement:

1. How excited were you when you knew you going to do it?

2. What about when you were on the bike, but your dad hadn't let go yet?

3. What about the moment that you realized your dad let go and you knew you were riding all by yourself?

4. When you got a bigger bike, was it more or less exciting?

5. Whenever you go for a bike ride now, how excited should you be before you get on the bike?

Seriously, did you take notes about your first bike ride? No matter how exciting it was when you were 4 or 5 or whatever?

I did not take notes. I was too busy having sex. I was too busy losing my virginity and didn't know that 30 years down the road men & boys would be quizzing me about the details. And actually, it wouldn't have mattered. That was my night. Please get your own night.

So I say to you, in the kindest way possible, the thoughts that went through my head the night I lost my virginity are mine, and are none of your business.

sigh- ok I'll play...

Do I have PMS? a headache?

Do the walls need painting?

Did he pick up his laundry? Help out around the house?

Is he wearing the cologne I like?

Am I distracted by work (or any other 10,000 possible things)

In summary there are about a million variables that make it impossible to create a real algorithm of arousal.

Good luck on your future sexual endeavors

This is a forum about sex, specifically women's issues, not about bicycles, let's keep on topic

1. How excited were you when you knew you going to do it?

There was no sexual excitement whatsoever.

2. What about when you were on the bike, but your dad hadn't let go yet?

Still no sexual excitement.

3. What about the moment that you realized your dad let go and you knew you were riding all by yourself?

Still no sexual excitement.

4. When you got a bigger bike, was it more or less exciting?

No sexual excitement.

5. Whenever you go for a bike ride now, how excited should you be before you get on the bike?

Don't ride bikes.

Seriously, did you take notes about your first bike ride? No matter how exciting it was when you were 4 or 5 or whatever?

You don't have to make it sound like my question was inappropriate in a forum where we're all asking about experiences and women are answering.

I do sometimes, but there is just never any chemistry. At least I have LPSG to come to when I have nothing else. :(

and this is your problem!

women's issues-
A special place for women (men are welcome to participate too)

it is not the place to expect women to answer what are frankly ridiculous questions. your curiosity is not a women's issue. we are not lab rats kept here merely to provide results for the male members.
had you asked without that ludicrous 1-10 scale angle then, personally, i still would not have been inclined to answer. but... 1-10??

it's all very unattractive.

There are plenty of men asking "What was your first experience with a big cock like" and questions of that sort on this particular section. Women don't have to answer, but other women do answer, and the ones who don't answer don't have to be rude.

What's wrong with rating the intensity of something? We rate movies all the time on IMDB on a scale of 1 to 10. We rate sexual orientation from 0 to 6 on the Kinsey scale.

I asked because for me, those are terms that I can understand.

The thing is that the questions are like asking, "On a scale of 1-10 how hungry are you before you eat?" Or, "On a scale of 1-10, how tired are you before you go to bed? And after you wake up?" Each time you eat or sleep is situation dependent, so it's not possible to answer your questions with any kind of accuracy. It's the same with sex.

http://www.lpsg.org/185353-forum-rules.html

to quote the forum rules,

Questions from users regarding size, function, likes/dislikes and so on regarding penises should not be posted in the Women's Issues forum.

most of the thread you mean are fossils, made before the rules came into place (after much complaint from the ladies that such rules were needed).

when you read A special place for women do you imagine what we want to see is a front page full of men asking for wank fodder and sliding scales? because in the days before this type of thread was discouraged, threads on actual women's issues were so hard to find they might not have existed at all.

the place for sex surveys is here,
http://www.lpsg.org/sex-with-a-large-penis/

though i'm starting to see why you need to reduce things to ridiculously simple terms.

Ladies!! On a scale of 1-10 what rating does our date need to be for me to get a follow up date?

On a scale of 1-10, how attracted to me do you need to be for us to kiss?

1-10, what number on date and attraction gets me in your front door on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd date?

On a measuring tape of 1inch to 10 inches, what length does my penis need to be to visually stimulate you? Physically?

1-10, how fresh does my breath need to be in the morning after for us to enjoy kissing as we cuddle in bed.

When I make you breakfast the next morning, how tasty, 1-10, does it need to be for you to look forward to me cooking breakfast again?

On a scale of 1-10 how useful do you find scales of 1-10?

And you are being told that the terms you can understand are meaningless to us and we can't give you an answer.

Sex is not a movie - it's not anything like watching a movie, in fact the bike riding analogy that so pissed you off above is a better analogy than watching a movie. As for sexual orientation scales you should know reading here that there are a world of different opinions on that and nowhere near everyone agrees with Kinsey.

As for the being rude thing - we are constantly being told that we 'don't have to be rude' and yet in my 5 years here the only way the women of LPSG have ever gotten things moving towards the tolerable is by being rude, by using humour and sarcasm (and sometimes outright hostility) in replies to threads we don't want here. I wish it didn't have to be that way, I wish we didn't have to be so spiky to not be treated like unpaid online wank fodder - but we do, so we are.

So post something intelligent that the women and men who inhabit Women's Issues can respond to or fuck off.

I wasn't trying to be rude and I'm so sorry you completely missed the point. If you actually listened to the women here instead expecting answers on your own terms, you might learn something.

And since I'm not hopeful for your sexual future, bike riding is a great past time.

I think I love you.

Well, finally! :biggrin1:

Add me to the can't put a number/rating on it camp. Just not doable, sorry. Like petite said, i've been at max arousal before and i've been at low arousal and then built slowly -- both work for me, it'd be boring as all get out if it worked the exact same way each time.

And I dont remember losing my virginity. That was 20 years ago. I guess it wasn't that memorable.
