I gave myself a 9 out of 10, based on my life experience. I'm pretty darn excellent at math, but the upper throes of calculus began to kick my ass.

I can add pretty well until I run out of fingers. Sometimes I can do higher math if I'm wearing sandals.

I never thought of math as an especially strong skill of mine until I started being paid on commission. Suddenly figuring 6.5% became absurdly simple.

When I see the people who can disappear down the spaghetti wormholes of mathematics, I realise that what I know adds up to the square root of fuck all.

I'm pretty good at math, actually, but I'm no math professor.

I voted Se7en - which I assume means that I'm quite good but go a bit Kevin Spacey and cut people's spouses' heads off and Fedex them places if my errors are pointed out to me.

I think as long as you understand the basics of math as an infinite series of solutions of certain differential equations, allowing their extension to arbitrary positive and negative values and even to complex numbers you can get on in life just fine.
