At this moment ,confirmed by president of Republic of Serbia.

Ratko Mladic, wanted by UN prosecutors for war crimes and genocide during the Bosnian civil war, has been arrested in Serbia after a decade in hiding.

Here's a link to the NYT coverage of his capture. There are more suspected war criminals still in hiding, but hopefully justice will be served.

Why is he to be tried at the Hague and not in Serbia? He is Serbian and the crimes were in Serbia. Wouldn't it be better for Serbs to see Serbian justice done in Serbia?

He is Bosnian Serb, not Serbian. In Hague is Court for war crimes, and It is better if the judges are neutral (no Serbs,Muslims,Croats).
Btw,all that crimes and genocide were in Bosnia, not in Serbia.

Perhaps, but (in addition to the reasons given by Hifzija, above) the capture and extradition of Mladic for trial by the International Criminal Court has been a condition on the acceptance of Serbia into the European Union (source). Further, I would imagine that President Tadic is glad to have the responsibility for trying Mladic taken off his country's hands, as the political pressures from both sides would make it very difficult to carry out an impartial trial. For instance:

Serb nationalists rally in support of Ratko Mladic

    Exactly,Calboner.
In Ex-Yugoslav country`s can not be a fair trial, because Many people here cherish the tradition of fascism,Ustashi,Chetnicks,Mujahedins, etc.Best Example was is Bosnia after capturing Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic.Bosnian Serbs are taking revenge on the Bosnian Croats and Muslims.

It depends on which media you look.
Of course, nothing extremely, mostly organised by individual parties, radicals,SNSD,etc. Dozens of people beaten up,Insulting on the national basis.Burning The flags. The biggest problem is that police in RS are all tolerated.
