there was never a group vote required.

Some Boys Allowed requires a group consensus before a new member is added.

the only requirements for RLG are post count *300 minimum*, at least 3 months membership,and some proof of gender.

I don't think I quit, honestly. And I think I remember being a member. Who knows. Maybe when they deputized me I got booted.

There was a purge at some point. Anyone inactive got the boot but was welcome to return. The discussions can get really personal, so it was suggested that occasional expulsions of lurkers should be a thing, if I recall correctly.
