I had 2 cruises cancelled. Have 2 cruises in Nov., 2 cruises in January and one huge voyage in Feb. 2021.
Oh fuck,no! I haven't lost any $$$. What happened that you couldn't get a refund?
I own a timeshare and I pay a year in advance... that was about $700 I paid last year for this March-- but as the island closed, we could not use our week. Unlike a hotel, I can't just cancel. It is like 'rent'. Also, the airfare could be moved to another flight, but the new flight was 400 less than I originally paid, so United gave me a 'credit' good for 1 year--if I don't use it, I lose it. So, I'm thinking I'm out about 1100 so far. Sucks, but in the grand scheme of things, with people dying and getting really sick, I think I'll take my loss and stay home and try to stay safe. A lot worse things happening to people.

Looking forward to travel again (sooner the better!). Sadly until the vaccine or treatment everything is going to be so different (masks, distancing, limited occ% ships and hotels). Even after this all, I think this is going to have a lasting change on the new 'normal'
