Got a feeling it wouldn't take you long to remember even if you didn't write it down, because you is one sharp cookie.

Thank you!
If you want to come over for dinner we are having a "Fondue Fling" tonight. Cheese with bread and fruit. Meat with dipping sauces and chocolate with shortbread and berries!

Not exactly a cookie but looks nice on a cookie platter.

Stained Glass Treats
12oz. Chocolate chips
1 stick Butter or oleo
1 cup Chopped nuts
1 bag Colored mini marshmallows
Coconut

Melt choc and butter together in a double boiler, let cool, stir in nuts and marshmallows, shape into a log 1 1/2" diameter, roll in coconut.

Chill until firm, slice to serve.

Another cookie recipe:

Fudge "No Bakes" Cookies
1 stick oleo
½ cup water
2 cups sugar
¼ cups cocoa
pinch salt
combine in a heavy sauce pan bring to a full boil. Boil for 1 minute remove from heat
Stir in 1 cup peanut butter
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups quick oats
mix and then drop by spoonfuls on wax paper let cool.

For us non-Americans - what the fuck is oleo???

Hot Sausage Dip:

1 lb. of sausage brown and drain. I use different blends last time 1/2 sweet italian and 1/2 choriso.

Add: 2 cans Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilis(do not drain) I used medium hot

Dice and melt in 3 8oz. packages of cream cheese.

simmer until cheese completely melted and blended in. Salt to taste.

Serve warm with tortilla chips.

If you have any leftover the next day, add 1Tbsp for each two eggs for a delicious breakfast scramble.

This is really yummy I make one similar, but with salsa instead of canned tomatoes. You can also use 1 block velveeta cheese, 1 jar salsa and 1 pd browned drained sausage to make a variation of the first dip. When I make sausage dip I'm a total glutton and use Neese's country sausage with Sage. :biggrin1: If I'm going to have coronary artery disease I'm going to get it the right way:tongue:

Candy Sushi:

1 1/4 cup rice cereal (If you use rice checks crush to grain size)
1 cup white vanilla baking chips
2 TBSP marsmallow cream
1 TBSP butter
4 fruit snack roll ups
12 gummie worms (I used twizzlers)

In microwavable bowl melt baking chips, stir in marshmallow, butter, and cereal.

Unroll wraps and spread 1/4 of rice mixture over each wrap leaving a 1/2 inch on one of the short edges. lay three worms or twizzlers across rice mixture.

Roll using the 1/2 edge to overlap and seal.

Let cool and slice each roll into 4 pieces. Store loosely covered.

We always have a Banana Cake for Hanukkah. This is the recipe we've always used.

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup + a smidge more sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
3 large eggs (separated)
1 tsp vanilla
4 large ripe bananas mashed
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
For best results make sure all ingredients are room temperature.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt, whisk together, add oil, milk and eggs yolks, vanilla, bananas and walnuts. Mix throughly.
In another bowl whip the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Gently fold into the batter mixture.
Pour into a lightly buttered and floured tube cake pan. and bake for 45-50 minutes.
Allow to cool for half an hour before removing it from the cake pan. Either sprinkle with confectioners sugar or frost with a buttercream frosting or whipped cream.
Enjoy!
