Redness on my penis.

So I'm 56 years old and I've noticed that after stroking my penis alot in one day- it gets really red in that area. I don't really stroke it with much force but it still gets a real noticeable rash on it. Is this common? I've been putting Hydrocortisone cream on it and that seems to help. Ultimately I can talk to my Dr if I feel I need to- but was just wondering if any of you experience anything similar after a day of edging.

I'm not circumcised because that's not good for a masturbate.Lubrication between the foreskin and glans (glans) is important. I have been using butter for many years and have had good experiences with it. Then, at full stroke, the foreskin slides smoothly over the glans and causes pleasant feelings. In addition, the skin is protected.I use the entire lift of the foreskin over the glans because I removed my frenulum myself. Masturbation is also very healthy, especially ejaculation because it flushes the prostate.

You mention being an edger, as am I, so some redness after several hours of stroking is not unusual. It is just the skin's reaction to friction. If you look at my verification pic, I took it after a long edging session, so you can see some redness. I would suggest the only time to get it checked is if the redness persists on days when your not stroking. If your edging is causing you soreness then maybe consider using lube to reduce the friction.
