He acted better in SNL than bridgerton. Maybe because in SNL you can be overly dramatic and have it work

Really? He hasn't given me that vibe, besides Shonda has a rule to not cast assholes and divas on her shows (I think she learned a lot from Grey's Anatomy).

That's so heartbreaking... he's literally the main reason why the show performed really well, because of him. Hope he's not completely gone.

Something has gone on here. I imagine he didn't want to spend quite a large amount of time with scripts, rehearsals, shooting etc to now be a background part and would rather spend that time looking for the next project.
I'm lost...did they say WHY he wasn't going to appear anymore? Not sure if I'm not reading the message right or if I'm miasing something lol

It makes sense that he is leaving, his character is not in the remaining books much, so he wouldn't have had much screen time going forward.
i think it's pretty obvious - he was only locked into a 1 season deal, so when they got back round the renegotiating table to keep him in the fold (because there's absolutely no way netflix would acitvely choose to pass on such a hot ticket), the terms didn't meet his wants (bigger pay, bigger part, maybe keeping his clothes on...). the way it's been released is definitely very odd, so i don't think it was the most amicable conclusion.

So it's true, he won't be back. It's a real shame, he was so good as the Duke. I have read about it all over the internet.
