Nice photos of you, btw and thanks for your question. Both products can do that to me but by getting to know how much to take, the effects are greatly reduced. It's understanding the balance between how much you need to be effective and taking just that much. An "antidote" to both is strong coffee and, although my doctor questions this second one, something fatty like toast with a lot of butter. Just a thought for you. Also, Tums help with the indigestion feelings I sometimes get which may be similar to the congestion you mention. I guess there is a price for everything - hahaha. I don't take Cialis everyday, but when I do use it the effects are good for about three to four days. The side effects can continue that long too, so try to adjust your dosage and see how that works for you. Mark
I found that fatty foods completely neutralize Viagra...if I eat anything fatty it won't work at all. Cialis appears to have no such limitation, and works for 36 hours vs about 12 for Viagra. However Viagra gives far harder erections.
Yes, I agree, and that is why one needs to take Viagra on an empty stomach. I was suggesting the food and coffee as a remedy for side effects AFTER the use of Viagra - for instance, if you took Viagra during the day and had sex, you could then minimize the side effects after by the food and drink. I also think the the effectiveness of Cialis is somewhat slowed down by foods. I agree you are correct about the lasting effects of both . a few hours for V and about three days for C.

The mechanism of action of the two is the same so any subjective difference is likely related to relative differences in dose or absorption (fatty meal vs not, etc). Fortunately, both generic now and with GoodRx or similar, very inexpensive.
