Lets see the economy booms every time we cut taxes, revenues to both the state and federal government filled to the brim. lets let out a cheer for John F Kennedy a fiscal conservative, cut taxes, as does Ronald Reagan. Both times the econaomy boomed. Where liberalism always fails is they believe in redistribution of the producers and giving to the non producers. One of the Ten Commandments is, "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor." Unfortunately, many Christians do not see that Commandment as very important, nor do they see other forms of dishonesty as important.

Much of the OT is the history of the Hebrew people, including the atrocities and genocides they committed, using as an excuse that they were doing the will of God although they should have known that such behavior was against the will of God. Things haven't changed very much.

As I've previously pointed out, it's interesting to read in Ezekiel the real reason that God destroyed Sodom; it's very different from what we have generally heard:

They may experience membership gains for a while but eventually they will lose members as the members begin to realize that the actions of the religion are often at odds with the principals of social justice and love which it claims to espouse.

Hmmm, I dont get it Im a Republican, but im an agnostic.

I also am not wealthy (yet) but hope to be some day. It seems to me that wealth is directly proportional to how hard you work, how much effort you put forth, isnt that the American way? So why should you be taxed more or at a greater level than someone who does not work as hard and as a result has achieved less?

Im not slamming anyone who has not become wealthy, im just saying that anyone can if they want to. Some people may have other life goals and that is fine, but it does not mean that they should pay less because they earn less, after all that was their choice.

I guess I may be more of an independent, but I like the GOP because I can relate to their message about personal responsibility and free market economics. I dont get all the name calling and carrying on about this country. I can tell you after I having been overseas America rules the world and thank god (if there is one) that it does!
