Republican and proud of it.
I'm sorry, I totally, totally, totally have never understood this. I don't like all the stuff the Democrats put out (I'm a Democrat), but I cannot possibly understand a gay person being a Republican. Why would you be proud of being a member of a party that is the sworn enemy of people like you?
Just weird.

I am a Democrat. I don't have the money to be a Republican!
I am a Democrat. I voted for Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004. And I'll most assuredly be voting for the Democrat in 2008. I've usually voted straight party line in almost every election since I've been able to vote. The exceptions have only been in local elections where the Democrat has been completely incompetent, a total whackjob, or where there wasn't even one in the race. I've also voted for registered Republicans a few times in local non-partisan elections.
Since democrats are considered as having politically correct viewploints, and since many here have politically correct viewpoints, I would think most here vote democrat.
Except for the same-gender marriages comment. The "democratic party" doesn't like queers any more than the "republican party." They just aren't as vocal about their efforts against us.Sounds and looks like a Democrat to me.

Not this queer. Not true. The Democrats like "queers" much more than the Republicans do. In fact most "queers" are democrats".
Not this queer.

Please read a little more carefully. I have stated many many many many times that I am NOT A DEMOCRAT. I am also saying that the democrats are giving you lip service to make you think they "like you," but lip service is all it is. The democrats want to court you for your money and vote, but they really have no intention of granting you full citizenship. The republicans are at least more honest - they tell us up front they don't like us, they don't want our support, they wish they could strip away a few more of our rights. In reply to my previous post. Are you saying that the Republicans like you as a queer better than the Democrats do?
Or are you saying that you are not a Democrat?
As far as the rest of your post "Rome was not buit in a day"
