One doesn't have to go over there to know Iraqis would love freedom from those foreign U.S. invaders who killed their countrymen, robbed, imprisoned, raped, tortured and ultimately left them hungry, homeless and poor.

Oh my mistake...none of that was happening before American soldiers got there...I was under the impression this had been going on for a VERY long time.

Ever hear of Uday and Qusay Hussein?

Why on Earth would you think that somehow your opinion on the Iraq war was masked, and that your support thread was just an ambiguous love fest for your fellow man?

And why do you think it's better that American and her puppets brutalizes Iraq and makes it hell on earth for millions of people instead of Saddam?

I was reminding the poster of the little fact what he posted was nothing new that we specifically caused the Iraqis. It makes his argument sound ridiculous.

I NEVER said it was better. Don't put words in my mouth. You are ridiculous...you keep doing that. Opinions on the war do not matter. It is about respecting the dead. Everyone who has died in all of the countries should be remembered. Plain and simple. I just happened to mention the ones who are SERVING our country (it is their job)...not defending.

Please. Please, stop acting like you "might" oppose the Iraq war. Why are you even playing such a stupid game? It's obvious where you stand. And no, the Americans dying over there today deserve no respect anymore. They know better by now. Maybe if they had signed up in 2002 before Iraq, maybe I would care, but it's 7 years later. Only bloodthirsty idiots are joining the marines and Army now, if they get a cold grave, it's what they deserve. Walking around without arms or on prosthetics or peeing through a tube is a tough price to pay for stupidity, and the disabled vets have my pity, but still do not have my "respect" simply for being stupid.

I'll "respect" the dead Iraqi freedom fighters and even al queada in Iraq (and I do, greatly) before I respect the Americans and Brits over there dying for their corporate masters. I'm done playing this stupid "regardless of how you feel about the war, you should respect our troops" nonsense that starts every stupid conservative war loving e-mail chain letter and myspace spam. It's been over seven years. Anybody who joins the armed forces today is simply doing America and the world a disservice. Iraq is a disgusting war of corporate imperialism. There is nothing to respect if someone wants to participate in such a disgrace.

I NEVER said it was better.

Your intentions are far too transparent to try and play games with me. I know what you meant when you mentioned Uday and Qsay. Don't try and act like it's not what you meant.

End you are probably right in your opinion but how do we maintain our wasteful lifestyle without using the rest of the world?

really, what kind of man does it take to pick up an AK-47 and shoot at the most technologically advanced nation in the world?

The brave Iraqi insurgent, that's who. He continuously puts his life on the line to stop the never ending waves of Euro-American domination and colonialism.

He hides in a basement, under threat of torture from American backed forces, and build bombs to free his country and wealth from the vice-grips of exploitative multinationals who want to ship the wealth of his homeland and the land of his ancestors to their own homes.

It is the Iraq insurgent who is fighting for all of us in the world. Without the insurgent and the revoltuionary, the world would have long ago been turned into a giant prison complex where the billions of slaves serve the thousands of masters.

Brave Iraqi insurgent, keep planting those bombs of justice.
Don't you think you're a little too OLD to be playing the 'chippy teen?'....GROW UP.

You think the Iraq war is just, and you will say and do whatever it takes to defend it. End of story.

HA! You are so delusional. I never said I supported the war. You are a very aggressive and sad individual. You thinking the things you do about me and my "opinions" only stands to prove that there can be people out there who can have knowledge about both sides of the situation and make informed decisions. Just because I support respecting the human beings being killed and maimed (mentally and physically) does not mean anything else. I also have the same respect for those in other countries who have died and that includes Iraq and Afghanishan. I chose to focus on America because I live here. And I was also just intending to give an update on casualties because many people have seemed to forgotten.

I really have no idea how you have still remained on this site since 2007.

And you support the Iraq war. It's only obvious.
Are you going to deny it? Are you going to say the Iraq war was wrong? Are you going to say that the hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed is blood on Americas hands that can never be washed off? Or are you going to continue to try to lawyer your way through to weakly hide your true opinion? People who oppose the Iraq war don't even post stuff like this. They don't say things like they are "fighting for our country", because they don't believe that the Iraq war has anything to do with our country.

Now either admit you support the Iraq war, or say that you oppose it. But all this dancing around and trying to act like I don't know your opinion when it is only obvious is ridiculous and pointless.

I mean, geeze, you really could shut me up about it pretty quick just by saying, "I hate the Iraq war, I wish it never happened."

Nothing would shut you up lol.

Another dance, another jig. You just keep adding up your attempts at obfuscation of your opinion, and trying to use it as some kind of weapon against me. I know you are bluffing. How much more do you want to keep throwing in the pot. I know in the end you cannot say you abhor the Iraq war. I know you can't, because I know how you feel about it.

I apologize for being out of line and calling you that.

I won't deny I am crazy. I don't mind being called crazy. I am crazy.
But if you call me ignorant, you better be a professor, and you damn well better be more informed than I am. And seriously, I know more about some of this stuff than professors I have met.
