I was a little taken aback to receive the following message on dudesnude (where i show everything: face, body, cock) from someone with whom I have not previously corresponded:

"No offense...but, were the photos at the end of the set taken after you've gained a few pounds? You're still a handsome man...but, in the collage of photos, you're a very beautiful man! Take care beautiful...just wondering..."

Does he think the compliments offset the rude question? Um...yeah; I wish I look like I did 10 years ago, but I'd rather keep adding new pictures and keep it honest than only have stuff from several years back. Any thoughts on responses? No response is a leading contender.

Thanks!

Stick to no response. It's not worth the hassle and you're the better person for it.

Thanks, horseymann. Your pics look great, too.

I just decided to block him with no response. No reason he should get to j/o to my old pics after his comments regarding my new ones!

I used to reply to messages that pissed me off but some are not worthy of a response. I do when some go too far and it usually gives them a wake up call. I wonder if these people are the same in face to face interactions.:)

You're right, that comment is rude.

That said, and I haven't looked at your pictures so this isn't about you, pictures, especially on hookup sites, should accurately represent the person who's going to show up at the door. Personally, I think profile photos should be no older than one year. Also, uploading the best picture you've ever taken in your life is misleading. Wouldn't you rather someone be pleasantly surprised than disappointed?

You can't be responsible (or responsive) to what goes on in other people's heads. Some people have no filters. In the words of Timber Hawkeye: "Speak no evil, see no evil, hear no evil, post no evil".

IDK I think he was sort of polite about the whole thing..he was just wondering because he thought he saw a difference in the pics. I mean its dudes nude where you can post pictures and guys can comment on them...that's what the site is all about. I agree someone shouldn't be outright rude but he didn't seem to be. I think if you plan on using the site to hookup or meet a dude the pictures should be current..but if it is just for the F of it post whatever and get ready for the comments LOL.

Either way take the high road and either do not respond..or with a kill him with kindness response.. a hey thanks for the comment..as far as the pictures some were from XXX and the others a little more recent.

It was a carelessly dashed-off message—the guy didn't re-read it and possibly didn't even remember he'd made the weight comment. Sometimes people just do that, especially if they're careless or distracted, so they accidentally send irrelevant or nonsensical comments.

I've seen comments where someone had undoubtedly left a comment intended for some other picture. Sometimes a guy forgets to go back and delete unfinished or random thoughts he didn't really intend to post.

Such comments just don't warrant much thought.

Talk about an unnecessary comment.

Even if he did think that when he was going through your pics, why did he ask you a question about it? Why does he HAVE to know if you gained a few pounds? And if you did, SO WHAT?? BIG FUCKING DEAL!!

That guy needs a life.
Fuck him.
