Ya know. That description of events sounds strangely close to another description i've read on this site. Now what was it. Hmm. It started with an R and ended in baiter but i can't put my finger on it. Guess i'll have to remember what a baiter of race is another day.

My stance here has been from the jump that athletes/entertainers/etc should not naturally be considered role models. Race baiting how?

Look at your sig for instance. Look at the terms you've used when talking about race. Look at the subject matter you choose to talk about. The way you use terms to defend your stance. You proudly display all of these things at any given time. If it were for enjoyment then that'd be a different thing altogether. It is not. Even the names you call people are meant to create an emotional reaction from black people specifically.

If you genuinely believe my interactions differ based on the race of my opposing debater, I will let this issue die and accept your (bogus until shown otherwise) accusations that I am a racist, race baiter, etc.
What you are failing to grasp is the radical idea that one can criticize another, even another from a different race, without it being about race. They can disagree with them based on a litany of reasons, some of which might just include their actions and ideology. Crazy stuff, ain't it?

I would think it evident even to the absolutely clueless, which WE certainly aren't (contrary to their own belief, apparently).
The reason why we keep asking more or less the same question as you pose above is because the rationale and excuse given for this kind of thread (especially as it relates to Brown's killing, according to the o.p.'s OWN admission) is at best a BOGUS one.
Owing to what it accomplishes, the rationale, the excuse, just doesn't "wash". Even the title is fraudulent.
The thread has nothing to do with the responsibility of black athletes or entertainers to fight racism. Would that it did, it MIGHT address concerns whether or not black athletes have remained TOO silent on Michael Brown's killing, as suggested in this piece:

But then again, he wouldn't think to be critical of that. In fact, to carry the supposed topic further one MIGHT equally ask, "What are the responsibilities of white athletes and entertainers in "fighting racism", seeing as how he referenced Brown's killing as a purpose for the thread. Of them, only Alyssa Milano spoke out on it, best to my knowledge. Where are all the rest?
But no, this thread is about NONE of that. It is merely an attempt (and a bogus assed one at that, IMO) to focus attention away from the behavior of rogue law enforcement, and ONTO the behavior of certain black people, for the purpose of (as you observed) "generalizing an entire culture", something he isn't alone in doing, (as you're about to see in my next post).
Add to the fact that this same person, when asked about his work with N.Y. city minorities and how THEY felt about that city's stop and frisk law, responded by essentially saying "they need to cooperate more", and one gets an overall picture that doesn't require much reading between the lines, I think.
