No mitchymo, It is not about the foreskin to be cut off, it is about the ones who are not circumcised, they must be killed according to the Bible.

"And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant." Genesis 17:14 (KJV)

Well perhaps i stand corrected, it after all does'nt actually necessarily mean they should be killed, it could easily be interpreted as 'cast out'. And without this additional quote it can and WAS interpreted to be a simpler reference to the removal of foreskin, well by me at least.

A bit confused here.

InHammad writes:

I will be proving to you that the Holy Bible is not the word of God, but the word of the Devil.

----------

Then, several posts down he writes, "Did I mention that I am an atheist?"

This is incongruous. You implicitly imply you are not an atheist by stating that the Bible is "the word of the Devil". Please explain.

Also, do we get a similar diatribe against the Qur'an?

Call it any Religious book, it is still the word of the Devil, the atheists don't believe in the Devil? If they do then they become Satanists, right?

I don't know about the Quran, you can open a new thread and write down any Diatribes against the Quran If you like, We would be happy to see that.

That's not correct. This is referring to a person's spirtual source.
(To be honest, I am not sure what "spirital source" means...but it does not mean that they shall be put to death)

But I agree with you that if you find so much death and bloodshed in the Bible, I would be an anthiest as well.

Now lets talk about that Pizza, but please.... watch the carbs...

It's all mythology (on top of mythology). Any lesson taken from the Bible other than "Be a good person like Jesus" is absurd. People need to stop being afraid of death and start taking responsibility for their lives. The devil does not make you cheat and god does not get you a new job--it's all YOU and your choices.

I personally liked it better when we humans had many gods who each had a specialty. More fascinating and interesting and human-like and a tad more believable.

That twinge in your intestines
I know this is OT, but in Ohio there is a local chain of pizza shops called Romeo's. The founder/owner has been on a number of pizza bake-off contests on The Cooking Channel.

Don't let me divert from the controversy, though. (Pizza Hut vs Dominos, I mean).
I've seen that guy. He spins a mean doughball.

I wouldn't do that. It would be poor form, as is your attack against the Bible. If I wanted to convert you to Christianity, which I don't, I wouldn't begin with an attack on the Quran. If I wanted to insult you, and see if I could get you riled up enough to do something stupid, I'd start with the Quran. However, although I've read the book I don't practice Islam, so I say "Live and let live". Trolling by attacking others' religions is lower than low.

You said it better than I did earlier.

We have very many small independent pizza parlors in the area so the chains don't do well here. None of them serve NY-style pizza and none of them have some secret recipe handed down from their immigrant ancestors. My favorite pizza comes from Frank's Pizza downtown. Great thin-crust pizza with chewy puff edges and loaded with toppings.
