Reverse Interracial

The hot black chicks do music videos.

Since hair metal has dried up, more hot white chicks are doing porn since the music video route has dried up for them.

Yanno, when you're not spouting 19th-century theories, you're actually fun to be around.

Yes? I've seen it. I've seen Black on Black, Black on Asian, Asian on Asian and some middle-eastern. Unless you count the cameraman , then yes, those were some videos without a "white character"
[post=297238]Quoted post[/post]

Middle-eastern? You mean, porn with veils?

I'm not at all a big fan of this Hip-Hop/Rap kinda stuff, but it's a point saying that in the music videos of that kind you will find the hottest black chicks. So hit the mute button on your remote control and just watch n enjoy.

I feel as if there is still a tendency to have only light skinned black girls in videos though. Someone mentioned that to me a while back, and I really do think there's a point to it all. Is it racism, or simply a matter of most rappers just having a tendency towards liking lighter skinned women?

Speaking of black women, there's this really fine looking girl from Nigeria in my student teaching group. She teaches math at the same school I'm at, but she doesn't speak English all that well. I'm wondering if the cultural barrier would be too much to overcome or not. She slapped me on the arm for looking down her shirt the other day when we were talking, so I think I already fucked up, hahaha.

I confess to having watched Soul Train with the sound turned all the way down. And I'll probably do it again someday.

There are issues within the black community regarding skin color, believe it or not. There is some resentment among darker-skinned women that black women with a lighter complexion get most of the beauty accolades. And there's some truth to that. And there are actually slurs involved sometimes too.

I remember an interesting conversation with a dark-skinned black woman soon after Halle Berry won an Oscar. She maintained that Berry meets a white standard of beauty because, except for her complexion, the rest of her features look white: small nose, straight hair, small lips, etc. She went so far as to claim that Berry wouldn't have won the Oscar at all if she looked like a more "typical" black woman. I pointed out that Whoopi Goldberg won an Oscar, and she looks much more "black" than Halle does. She quipped, "Yeah, I still don't know how Whoopi slipped through."

Well, she's had a nose job. She's just another Aunt Jemima who I couldn't care less about.

And LOL@ her hair being straight.

If you're being serious, that's a pretty fucked up thing to say. Aunt Jemima?? Care to explain yourself, because if you talked like that in real life around where I'm from you'd have a big problem on your hands.

If you don't think she's beautiful you might want to have your eyes examined, regardless if she's got "white" features or not.

Spike Lee's movie Skool Dayz captured the light-skinnned/dark-skinned issue pretty well.

He was kicked off his college alma matar's campus once the President found out what his movie was about. I don't think it's as rampant as it once was, but its still an issue.

Honestly, not that many people care what I have to say about celebrities. Why would it be any different in Maryland?

You knew what I meant, though. Why you think she had her nose done?

I never said anything about her looks, because it wasn't relevant to the point I was trying to make. But anyway, she's certainly not a natural beauty.

I think she's attractive in that picture as well man.

The Aunt Jemima comment is racist, regardless of if you're talking about a celebrity or not. That's not a random put-down, it's been used many times in the past in a hateful manner. It's akin to calling an older black woman "Mammy" in my opinion.

Getting a nose job likely made her feel better about herself, that's why people get operations man. I'd bank on most celebs getting work done.

But you're right, she's not a "natural beauty" in the sense that she wasn't born with her current looks. Seriously though, you're not ignorant enough to not know that what you said earlier could be offensive, correct?

Woah, she looks a bit like my mum!

As for the whole porn thing, well, porn is shallow, this may sound gross, but real flesh, real minds, real passion, real PLEASURE is limited only by what you and your partner are willing to try.

Trying to rationalise porn or make it anti-discriminatory isn't going to happen. I just feel sorry for the men and women who have been wrongly introduced to their sexuality because of it.

As for the movie bizz, well, that's shallow as well, I mean, you know Zora should be on TV, but that ain't happening, I mean, they'll just spend years wondering "WTF, a woman who's a mutt with boobs brain and brawn?? We can't put her in a cliche' box!"

And I wont even go into Naughty's stage performance. ;)

....meaning she's had plastic surgery in order to look more "white". aka, she sold out.

No, I'm not a fan. I hated Monster's Ball, and well, Halle wasn't the only one to break down in tears when she gave her acceptance speech at the Oscars. Man, that was some bad acting.

Besides, her body isn't that appealing to me. I don't even think she's got enough ass to keep the pussy off the bed sheets. ;)

@Orca, I've also got scars, fat bulges here and there and a nose ring- I don't think NBC will be calling!

@Dr. Dilznik, I have to agree with you. Monster's Ball missed me, despite the raves of critics. I've liked Billy Bob Thronton much more in other things, and Halle is beautiful but looks too much like a mannequin. It's a shame, she was pretty before, and I know what you're saying about "whiting out" and I completely agree. Unfortunately, I'm sure she felt that's what she had to do in order to be accepted in Hollywood. I have mixed feelings about people selling out, on the one hand, I can't blame them for making money, but on the other hand, it does get on my nerves when they bring their background into it. If Halle became whiter for the movies, it seems like a lark to bring up that she's black on Oscar day.

Honestly, I hope we get to a point where this shit doesn't matter anymore one fine day!

Heh Guys!

Dr.D! I really enjoy talking to you most of the time but we have got to talk...

1) What is this about Halle being Aunt Jemima? Let me tell you something...Aunt Jemima has it going on! She can cook like you wouldnt believe, she has survived and thrived for generations in the business world in spite of being an overweight, middle aged black woman with a do rag on her head! Halle should do so well. I refuse to embrace embarassment but to turn these types of stereotypes on their head.
2) Where have you been? People of all races are getting plastic surgery done at an alarming rate. If she wants to have her nose done so be it.How is that different from women of all races and ethnicities who spend tons of money to have breast enchancement, face lifts all in the search for love, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It may or may not be self hatred. Oh and about her hair honey every mother that has had a child with thick curly hair says thank God for anything that helps them to comb it. I see plenty of Ethiopian, Jewish, Italian and African women with some help from Dark and Lovely too! OK? so we are not going to go there!
3) Monster's Ball... OK maybe someone dropped me on my head, but I didnt see the movie so much a degradation of Halle but more a celebration of two people finding life in the ashes of total depravity. IF you really looked at beginning of the movie you would see a metaphor for the whole experience .Halle is driving the hell out of her car. Driving the tires the engine, the chassis, you name it down to the bone. She hasnt fixed it because she doesnt have the where with all to do so. So she is driving it until it just dies. That is what she and Billy Bob were doing with their lives, living on the fringes of humanity. Think of how he even had sex with the prostitute, detached and like a dog. It took the chance experience of her son being hit to break her down so far that she didnt even see him as a white man possibly a racist. He was a port in the storm and she couldnt go any further. When they had sex it was like watching two starving people eat .IT was not pretty but it was cathartic experience for them both. They are both healing and it serves as a turning point in the movie. She makes him look at her. From then on he too begins to act like a man and not an animal in a uniform. At the end when she discovers that he was her husband's executioner she has to make a decision. Do I throw away this most unlikely gift or do I take it and see where it goes? When she sees that he has buried her son next to his, her mind is made up for her....
