OOOHHH LORD, I missed a lot of stuff going on in this thread. You all have valid points. Rick doesn't get "sent" a lot of POC because the agencies don't have as many POC in the first place. Trust and believe when SOUL gets a new POC they send them to him. You also don't see a lot of POC shooting with him BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO SMART. The ones I work with in New York have all heard the stories about him and don't want to be in the apartment with a sexual predator. Many of them have talked to him through text and as soon as the innuendo's start dropping, they don't wanna go through with it. Also, Rick sells his photos on the side as well as the books, and he knows that the innocent Zack Efron look and the Roided up bodybuilder look sell the best. He's actually said that to somebody I know.

Also, ethnic models make their money from COMMERCIAL PRINT. Not semi-hard dick pics on a balcony. That's white boy shit. 99% of Black, Latino and Asian models will make their bread and butter from catalogues, Macy's, JC Penney, Kohl, TV commercials and the thousands of small commercial clothing brands across America. SO NO NEED FOR RICK DAY photos! They would actually work against you. So the smart models of color don't even approach him!

Also submitting into evidence, he lived with a big-dicked black model for years. Including sleeping in the same bed. The model was in a bad situation and wasn't getting that much work and had child support to pay etc. Models would go over to shoot and the model would sometimes be laying there on the couch in his underwear. So he does 'like" black models.

However, if your love of a race of people is solely based on your lust for their bodies, that's kind of racist. It's dehumanizing and objectifying. I've worked with tons of photographers in New York, LA, London and Paris who will lust after black models bodies on Instagram, like all their photos and send them nasty DM's. but have never heard them talking about a single issue facing POC or plan on using them in any of their high-profile projects. They're just booty and ass to them, sometimes stringing them along with promises of a job that could be right around the corner.

It is just a fact that many if not most up and coming male models will do anything to get a free shoot and to get a lot of followers on IG etc. AND, most if not all models know what they are getting into when they shoot with Rick Day. In fact, he is very upfront with the models both before and during the shoot. So just know that when you see a photo of a model from a Rick Day shoot, more than likely Rick had his way with them! I just wish he wouldn't over edit the photos.
